Laura Robson won't play US Open following wrist surgery - report by Kamakshi Tandon.

Laura Robson will not play at the US Open after having left wrist surgery during the clay season.
The 20 year old Briton told the BBC that she will start hitting again in August and would like to
"be able to play some matches at the end of this year and get some competitive tennis in before
Australia" she said.
"I'm basically going to be playing some very small tournament's to try and get my ranking up again".

The former Wimbledon girls' champion will be commentating for the network at Wimbledon.

Samantha Stosur and Miles Maclagan are believed to have ended their seven month partnership after Stosur's first-round loss to Caroline Wozniacki at Eastbourne on Monday.

Neither Stosur nor Maclagan could be reached for comment.

SERENA WILLIAMS: I love Caro. We have a great time together. Obviously she was in Miami, so we kind of hooked up and we hung out.

You know, she was just trying to be a positive influence in her life.

Caroline was also interviewed yesterday and to the question about Serena she said:
“It’s great to have friends on the tour that can relate to you,” she told BT Sport.

“She’s an amazing person and a great champion. What she has achieved on the court is something that I dream of maybe achieving one day.

“When you’re on the court it’s all about winning. You’re both competitors and you just want to win when you’re out there.”

of course she did and he told her to not move out of bed for the next days. Took me about 2-3 weeks to get over this nasty thing. She is not allowed to fly home! She will faint in the airplane during the flight because of the changing air pressure.
GOOD news is that this thing is not dangerous in itself. Only the falling while walking is dangerous. And you feel totally hopeless like a rag.
