Very funny, Si. They do look like clowns in those dresses.

Woz was wearing a pretty white dress recently which shocked me because Adidas has been making horrible outfits for her the last few years. She should continue wearing the white dress and not this eyesore.

Its Stella design, not Adidas. Sir Paul is paying Adidas to keep his daughter busy ;)

Navratilova looking to coach a top player; report from Kamakshi Tandon Monday August 25th.

Martina Navratilova is ready to join the growing group of former star players turning to coaching, while Andy Murray's former coach Ivan Lendl says he would be selective about working with another player.

Navratilova, speaking while she is in Singapore to promote the WTA Championships.would like to use her tactical and strategic knowledge to get a player to the top of their game.

"There's no substitute for that one-on-one,getting into the nitty-gritty of the game," she said."And you can only really do that with a top player, when you're just searching for that little edge. That slice back hand or that dropped volley that you may only use once or twice a match but may mean the difference between winning or losing."

However, she is still waiting to be approached by the right player."I love getting into those details of the sport.I'm sure it will happen," she said.

^ Genie or Mugu can be a suitable challenge for her with a similar style as her.
Or Serena becoming serve & volley player ;)
Taylor Townsend would be a great player for Martina to coach. She is a serve and volleyer and plays like she belongs in a different era. In addition, if there is anyone that knows about fitness, it is Martina.

Nicole Vaidisova "is back". She's on the alternate list (184th) for the ITF 75k event in Albuquerque, New Mexico, beginning Sep. 15th. Hope she gets a wc to either qualies or the main draw, eventually.

^ Well this is good news Rex. I was just stating in another thread that her time was too short to really accomplish anything. We'll see if she can catch up to the game or if it's passed her by.

I am glad that she is attempting a comeback. She was a big hitter and had much potential. Maybe being older and hopefully wiser she has learned to control her emotions on court and can become a top ten player.

Thanks, Rex. Having to start all over, playing such small events, will be a big test of her desire and motivation.

Re Nikki, according to a Czech newspaper she got the wc to the 75k in New Mexico. However, they don't specify as to whether it's qualies or the main. They also indicate that she'll get additional wcs at other events, unknown at this point. Her stepdad remains her coach. You'll need google translate for the link:

I totally disagree with Si Si. I think Caro's USO dress was gorgeous. You obviously don't know fashion that well ;).

Actually I think Miss Wintour's dress is too long for her,she is too tiny for starters,I think her hemline needs to come up a bit.I love the colour of Carolione's dress and the style,it really suits her.

The Wintour dress is just a hot mess. Not a fan of that print and on her you're right it just doesn't work. Caroline and Serena look very nice and stylish attending a fashion event. Big props to them for getting it right. :clap
