Doubles — 3:30 P.M.
Bryan/Bryan vs Dodig/Melo

Singles — 6:00 P.M.
Djokovic vs Federer

I've created a poll for the singles, but not the doubles. If enough people express interest, I could expand it to include them.

Glad it's on at 6pm. At least I can go to the gym at a normal hour so. Hate getting up early on the weekend to go for an early gym session. No strength when you're not long out of bed and with practically no food for power/energy.

Thanks for sharing, my friend, but who do you think will win the match? ;)

Even if Roger got through easily today I think he'd be up against it tomorrow. This isn't a good surface for Roger, definitely not good for him vs. Djokovic.

Novak was always gonna be the favourite on this surface but he's a much bigger one now after such a long match for Roger, which I missed. Hope Roger recovers enough to not make it a blowout final anyway. That was longer than most of his slam matches that even go 4 sets.

Yep. I was hoping for an easy, straight set win against Stan, not a marathon ending in a third set tiebreak. Not to mention it was the second singles match, so Roger will have less time to recover.

Well, nole is going to win this one, I have no doubt about it.

It was the lack of power in Roger's game today that bugged me more than anything... Nothing had bite, not the serve, not the forehand, not the backhand. Everything fell in the service box area and Stan had all day to swing freely, put him under pressure.

I hope he has a good breakfast tomorrow and maybe drop 5 pounds on the string tension.

Disappointed Stan could not walk across the finish line, but I think Novak wins in two tomorrow.

Normally I'd say 3 if Nole were to have his usual brain-cramp, but after this battle TONIGHT, I think Roger may be lucky to get out of bed tomorrow! Nole in staights; maybe a 6-2 or 6-1 set in there somewhere!  :dodgy:

Novak in straights.

Can't see a 33 year old recovering from a toughie of a scrap like today, in less than 24 hours. It's got to affect him. Also, the surface is a good one for Nole, who I'd think would be playing for pride, as much as the title.

I mean, he did just get his ar$e handed to him by Roger in Shanghai, right? So this time he steps in a little, and asserts his rights...

Fed got out of jail against Stan... he'll be happy to be there.

Still, I don't see a blowout in the final. Fed/Djoker matches usually hinge on who plays the few big points a little better. Gun to head I'd say Nole wins the match but wouldn't be totally shocked if Federer pulled it off.

Yeah probably not a blowout, but it's hard to picture him having a good 2 or 3 sets in him after the battle today and even fully rested it's an uphill battle vs. Djokovic on slower surfaces.

mr 33yr old sir woger of Federer plays 2hr 45min match until around 11pm !..thats bad news for the final, his only hope must be to play super attacking tennis, and if he gets passed into the void like Sampras did v Hewitt in the 2001 uso final then so what ?.

djokovic must have been laughing his actionman hairdo off watching that. still 90% for djoko to win if only due to tiredness, but don't rule out ol roger. :exclamation:

the good news is..instead of losing sf getting 600pts, now has a minimum of 1'000rank points which could come in handy next spring in sneaking a week or so as world no1.

Just like BB, I would not be totally surprised if Rog pulls it off. However, I am thinking
that Novak will win this due to multiple reaons such as lack of recovery time for Fed,
the surface, his own emotional state as a new dad etc.

But, I don't think it will be another blow out. Even if it does not go to three sets,
it will be competitive.

We can only hope! I'm seeing a "blow out!" That was an unnecessarily long match that I don't think was worth it "in the end!" Stan's confidence has to be shaken, both will be exhausted, and DC will be just around the corner! What would he want more, a DC or another useless Master's loss? :nono :puzzled :dodgy:

^cant win the big titles without getting to the final. I liked the way he fought today but overall he played pretty poor and will have to be a whole lot better to make it interesting.

Novak in straight sets.Federer has to get his first serve percentage up in this match up,he served poorly against Wawrinka,Novak being the best returner in the world will just neutralize his serve.Overall Novak is the player to beat in the YEC and going on both Novak and Roger's performances in their s/final matches,I cant see Novak being defeated.
