You can have it too easy. I think a tight match will be good for Novak, if he wins this...

I have to leave just when it's getting good. Oh well...

I think at 3-0 now, Novak will exert huge pressure on the Samurai. Not too sure he'll be able for it...

Very poor 3rd set from Kei. A shame 'cos the 2nd set was great viewing but seems to be all but over now.

Kei's droppers aren't working as well as they were in previous matches, they float too much.

It's more to do with Novak. He's rebooted successfully, and Kei is gone...

Couple of amazing forehand crosses by both players.

Don't agree at all. The first service game in the 3rd set by Kei had 3 unforced errors and set the tone for the whole set. He's making way more errors this set and his serve is a major liability like Sharapova's. It's either very good or pure crap. Too many double faults. I expect he'll end with one.

And it does end on a double. Terrible for Kei.

Well done Novak, another WTF final, and the streak continues.

Congrats to Kei, very good debut and he has proved himself as the one that can challenge the Big 3 more than anyone at this point.

I think it was more that Novak lost concentration, than anything else. Losing sets 6-1 and 6-0 isn't a genuine challenge. Nole is still light years ahead of Kei, and I wonder if he wonders WTF he was doing losing to him at Flushing Meadows.

This was a good match for Nole, he'll be bright as a button and sharper tomorrow. Just hope Fed doesn't tank to avoid him... :snigger

Uhm no. Did you see the end of the second set? If Kei gets his first serve %, keeps the UEs in check and stays healthy he can challenge anyone. Lightyears is an exaggeration, but yes, Novak is clearly ahead atm.

Also, at the US Open: Kei deserved that win, he played very well, and it was not on Novak's racket. The gap is smaller than you make it appear.

Also, Novak just said it was due to Kei's drop in level that he won the third so easily.

Congratulations Novak making the final at the YEC
Kei I hope you can build on your 2014 season in 2015.Well done for making a s.final at the YEC,also good response in winning the 2nd set, though in saying that Novak proved too strong.
