There's no way anyone but Nole is winning this tournament. The courts are far too slow. I just don't get it. Why do they insist on doing this? What is wrong with variety?

They're trying to mollify Nadal without having it played on clay. :plot

I know with Rotterdam, they slowed the courts after a final that was under an hour. Did feel like people were getting their money's worth, although I am with you, variety is the spice of life.

Oh good ... let's bring Nadal into another thread which has nothing to do with him. Shall we start discussing the '08 Wimbledon final now? ;)

A masterclass from Novak. If he continues playing like this there's no one beating him here. Even Boris Becker had a look of disbelief on his face.

Fantastic match point too! Nice to win it with a great final point and not an error from your opponent.

WOW... Bagel for the pizza face.

Haha, he does have such a pizza face :laydownlaughing:clap:D

Then in the summer time when he slathers the sun block all over his face?! Mel Gibson would have drafted him as an extra in Braveheart. Scary.

Saw the highlight reel of Berdych v. Cilic. Pretty sure the Cough Drop (Marin) will be a one slam wonder.

This is brutal. Stan won just three points on his serve in the entire second set.

Usually, you hear stats like a player lost just three points on his serve in a set. This is
just the opposite. I did not see the match and so I don't know WTF was going on there.

Very bizarre group, as if they're in a huge hurry in every match. Every single match is a royal pummelling...

They should start paying them by hour (instead of simply giving them $155,000 for winning a match). :lolz:

Very good performance by Novak. Haven't seen this level in a very long time. I hope he has it to in May at RG.
