That WTA 2nd serve got just what it deserved.

Andy takes the first.

If Milos wins a set, Fed will instantly qualify for SF, otherwise Fed has to wait.

The difference a proper serving performance makes is huge as was evident from that game there. Pretty damn bad if he loses without even winning a set.

Interesting conspiracy theory by a stupid poster on tennis.com. The poster accuses WTF
organizers of speeding up the court on alternate days so that Rog can advance.

Is it even possible to speed up court one day and slow it down on the next day?
Complete Morons.

In fact is easy to speed up/slow down the courts. All you need is:

a) 75 bulldozers x6 fx-6300
b) 3 large helicopters (CH-53E or Mi26)
c) 3500 workers
d) 200 square meters of stealth surfaces to cover all the hardware
e) time-slowing machine
f) all the love in the world for Roger Federer

and, of course, a pretty good plan to use it all.

Raonic is playing absolutely crap. Andy improved from Sunday but he couldn't get any worse to be honest.

They're both playing pretty crap to be honest! But yeah, Raonic is appalling tonight. Without his serve he's not beating any decent player and he's serving like a complete noob. Neither guy is serving particularly well but Raonic in particular is a crud fest tonight.

Andy gets it done in two.

This means Fed has to wait to officially qualify for SF.

This also would mean Andy vs. Fed would be a guaranteed night match.

Also, Andy is now #2 in the group pushing aside Kei to #3 (based on percentage of games won).

Better match from Andy than the first one but Raonic was extremely poor. I find it hard to see Andy troubling Roger too much on Thursday but still got my fingers crossed.

I am also glad that they put Rog this morning instead of evening. This way Roger gets
accustomed to conditions in day time as well (not that they differ too much, especially
in indoors) before his Semifinal match (which I expect will be scheduled for day time
unless it happens to be against Novak).

rogers victory was tidy..the other match was a bit messy. still, murray wins once again at the o2 for the first time since 1890.

I was only able to see the first match, Kei is feeling it physically again. It wouldn't surprise me if he withdraws before his 3rd match. He also forgot to bring his "USO form" with him.:nono

Looks like Andy rebounded well, congratulations to him. To bad for Milos but he might be overwhelmed here. It is understandable though, his 1st time in this format.

I think milos is looking like he's a bit of a choker..Wimbledon semi was broken by roger first up and was never in it at all..a surprising easy 3 set win for fed, el collapse v djokovic in paris final, where was milos ?..he was not in the stadium on finals day. and at wtf..shaky and nervous v fedster (worse than wimby) then another iffy error drenched effort v murray today.

milos was awesome in a match where he wasn't expected to win v Federer in paris qf/sf ?, ok he needed to win to qualify for wtf but everyone knew that really milos should lose (6-0 h2h)..so the pressure of the watching public wasn't on him and milos played well, but put the pressure on and....yikes.

Federer is now 70-11 in 2014. who was expecting 70+ wins this year ?..not me daddio.

Funny that Serena and Roger wait until their twilight years to over do it! It got ugly for Serena there for a while, but she salvaged her season with another USO title and YEC! I hope Roger doesn't come out in '15 like she did this season! I guess winning another USO would make it all worthwhile!
