Just tuning into the Gold Medal Women's Doubles match

Tight match so far on serve with the Czech team serving 4-5 Krejcikova/Sinakova
Czech team with a break and won the 1st set 7-5

Czech doubles team are showing why they are the No 1 ranked team leading 5-1 in the 2nd set....won the 1st set 7-5

On their 5th CHPoint the No 1 Czech team of Barbora Krejcikova and Katerina Sinakova defeat the Swiss team of Bencic/ Golubic
7-5 6-1 to win the Gold Medal Doubles Title!...well done Ladies just too strong for the Swiss Team.

BTW Krejcikova resume now reads slam titles in singles,doubles and mixed and now Olympic Gold....well done Barbora!

The gold medal is worth $800, the silver.medal is around $450 and the Bronze.medal is about $5.. Heck. They could at least add some small precious rocks in the middle of the bronze medal to make it worth at least $200

Pavs/Rublev rallied back from 4-7 down in the final t/break to win...well down to Vesninia/Karatsev.!!!!!

I'll go check, but it might have been a Cilic match, but I'm feeling like it could have been a ladies doubles' match! Way down, but won!

Actually, in a majority of the super tie-breaker sets, the team that is leading at half-time ends up losing.

I really hate super tie-breakers. I don't think it will take too long a time to play another set (and they can have an ordinary tie-breaker in that, if needed).
