Finally Nole got a dream draw through to the final! It's about time! I guess I shouldn't count my chickens before they're hatched, but he has owned Richard over the years!

I feel like Gasquet could have a letdown and go down in straight sets in the semis, since his fuel tank might be running a bit low.

Saw parts of the match, and if Gasquet can bring this game and attitude to the semi, he has a shot. His BH is way too solid.

Congrats to the brave five who believed in and picked Gasquet to win.... especially Mile and Fiero who called it in five.

I never would have guessed he had a chance.

Congrats to Gasquet. That was quite an effort.

I just realized I forgot to vote in this poll, but I'll be honest and admit I would not have picked Gasquet.

Five people voted for Gasquet, so some saw it coming, but certainly not me, especially in five sets.

As a casual fan, this is the best match today by far....

I should hope so, it was the only competitive one! Guess GamesetMatch was spot on here and he has the right to let us know about it again.;)

That 5th set was a real rollercoaster. I thought Richie had it, but then he looked gassed out and I was sure Stan would finish him. And then he started dumping a lot of shots into the net, and Richard prevailed. Well done by him! Entertaining match.

Richard "Choker" Gasquet has filed papers to officially change his middle name.:clap
What a sequence of victories! First Grigor, then Kyrgios, then Stan and then........ Ok, I am getting little ahead of myself. :snicker

I picked up Richie in 4 because grass's Stanimal worst surface. If Richie had a chance to beat him, it was on grass. this time my dream came true. I'm very happy about Richie's performance and attitude, He didn't panic in 5th set and finally won. Hope he can play like that in DC's tie vs British . When I said he was underachiever I didn't think he would do that !! Maybe did he read me ?
