I don't mind the attitude as long as he backs it up. But some of his antics today in the 2nd set were disgraceful. There was one game where he didn't even attempt to make returns :cover

It's a character issue; he can hopefully learn to act better, but I'm not sure he's that interested in being a better person. And for all one's talent and potential, it's the internal make up of a man that makes the difference between being a Federer or a Safin.

i really wanted victor to win.

Me too. He's been doing well and making his way back up the ladder. The win would have really helped him. He got really tentative at the end of the third set and never made his way out of that. To his credit, Vasik upped his level and kept the pressure on. Viktor didn't give much push back at all. :(

I'm glad that Gasquet is playing so well, allez!!!!!
I think Muzz-Karlovic is going to be a long/tough match unless this last one would start to serve bad which I doubt it.
Hope to see a good match by Bautista and meanwhile Garbi is doing pretty well, vamos!!!!

I'm impressed how well Muzz has improved his game and confidence like in his old times, it's about time to see again his smart game choosing his shots like playing the chess game

Fed always says that when playing against a big server, first order of business is for you to protect your own service games very carefully. Andy fails in that and gives a set to Evil.

Man , Dr Ivo is such a giant, Murray is a tall guy, the good Doctor makes him look like a fifth grader.

Well played Muzz :clap
And Gasquet and Simon look to be on fire, it's about time too. Both are great players but unfortunately not too consistent

I understand your point , Nick will be llucky to be as good as Mark Phil. The pressure of not having the innate ability to harness his emotions will stifle him in his quest to be a gs title champion IMO
