The Popsicle kinda melted there in the tiebreak.

Yeah, I was very worried of his chances after seeing him throw his lead in the 2nd-set TB. But very solid in last three sets.

Vasik stepped up his game and Viktor folded like a tent after the circus was over...

Gasquet getting chances from ol' Nicky. Can't seem to capitalize on any of them these last few sets.

Nick double faults to give the match over. :snicker

Thought Kyrgios was going to take the fourth. Threw it away. Maybe he'll mentally revisit that second set where he was like a petulant child and didn't even make the slightest effort to win it. Bizarre match.

I am glad for Gasquet. I too don't like this punk. He did not even wait for Gasquet before leaving the court violating the tradition. Congrats to Gasquet. He avenged last year's defeat.

I'll stick my neck out there and say Gasquet will lose this match. Like he often does when up two sets to love.

Still alive? Is your neck still intact?;)

Kyrgios has a scholarship from the Bernard Tomic School of Petulant Entitled Brats.

Nick has one or two more endearing features though and we'll see if he can iron out some of the attitude.

Wilander was extolling him as the next multi-slam winner and Kyrgios posts the link on his Twitter heading it up with the quote:

“No one knows how well he can play. You cannot say Nick Kyrgios is not going to win this year’s Wimbledon because..."

Well, Nick Kyrgios is not going to win this year's Wimbledon because... he's an idiot.

That will take some time, I think. He is a lot worse than Tomic ever was in that matter.

Well done Popsicle! Down 2 sets , comes back in another 5 setter.

This year I did not hear much of him. What happened? Was he having some injury lay off or something like that?

^ To be honest, Kyrgios has a ton of potential - spades of it.

Good luck britbox. I hope you find a better mannered aussie to root for, though.

No, he is inconsistent and took a lot of time to get back on track after his injuries early last year. I think grass really suites him, thus his good run here.,

I don't mind the attitude as long as he backs it up. But some of his antics today in the 2nd set were disgraceful. There was one game where he didn't even attempt to make returns :cover
