Djokovic has now won the last 3 matches against Nadal pretty routinely. He has also won 8 of the last 9 times he's played Murray.

When do people next see Nadal beating Djokovic again? Normal reaction would be clay season but going by last year, that's not exactly a given with Nadal turning 30.

The way he's playing now? Never. Because Novak won't have an off day or ever be complacent against Nadal. He'll want to drive a nail through history by beating him as often as he can. Rafa is going to have to improve a lot to make these matches competitive again.

This is how great players look at the tail end of a great career. They're too slow, lack the old fire, miss-hit by yards instead of inches. It's difficult to get it back, and as long Novak still has it, he's going to use it...

Hopefully never, one more bad year should punt poor Wafa out of the sport.

You wish, brother. But nowadays he's playing so lousy I wouldn't be surprised if The Deathless One took a set off him (in a best of five)... :popcorn

Maybe they can play indoors again. It isn't brokeback 2013 Federer. Ralph might do well and win 6 games.

I'd prefer they played indoors. Last time was quite enjoyable for me...

This time won't be, Roger isn't playing great but he isn't at the 2013 level needed for him to lose to the indoor weakling.

Brother, Federer hasn't beaten Rafa since the last days of the Roman Empire, or something like that. If they meet, trust me, it'll be just what the doctor ordered for young Ralph...

You may be disappointed, it takes awfulness out of Roger to lose to Rafa on a low bouncing surface. If they play at YEC it will be ugly

Mediocre Roger beats Wafa indoors. You're in for some more disappointment but I'm sure you'll be quick to blame it on a brief illness a year ago.

Or when Rafa wins, you'll mention that bloody "back injury..." :popcorn

Considering Federer is 2 years older now and actually moving way better than in 2013 I think it's fair to say he had a bad back in 2013 and it wasn't an "injury". Just watch some clips from that year and you'll see he was stiff and rigid and didn't even bother trying to run down many balls that weren't even that far away from him for fear of making it worse.

I dunno if rafa can win much v djoko anymore..i'm sort of getting a feeling of post 1985 McEnroe/lendl meetings about nadal/djokovic,

up until 1985 usopen final they were fairly even, after that though it was lendl all the way apart from the 1989 wct sf when McEnroe won with the help of some 'home linejudge calls' in dallas.

I think something has to change significantly for Rafa to win any match outside of a fluke...

When? anytime soon and hope the next AO can be his culmination and finish the work of 2014 and all the bad consequences after that loss
