Alize Cornet wins the 1st set over 2nd seed Sofia Kenin 61

Both the No1 and No2 seeds need to lift their games ASAP

Off to the gym I will check final scores later.

I am not surprised after watching both the No1 and No2 seeds both lost their matches after watching their 1st sets.

Well done to Veronika Kudermetova for her gutsy win over Pliskova 75 64

Alize Cornet d Sofia Kenin 61 76(7).

Knew that was possible, as Jabeur is so tricky and has been trending. Still bummed.
