This seems to be personal.. Good to see Vika playing like this.. any thoughts Tossip
Azarenka is harbouring a lot of anger and jealousy because of Serena and Wozniacki closeness.,,that hitting partner is in her ear about a lot of stuff. She is so obsessed about the sisters enough to go after them .She concidentally signed with Venus agent.of all the agents working for IMG she had to choose Venus agent, she has Sascha who to me was good riddance, she is wearing Serena s shoes, she went after Esther and then Serena s BFF Boris .This to me shows lack of character and she seems to want what the sisters have. She probably will go after Drake on the low..its just that Drake is into curvy women of color.
Azarenka will flame out soon...she starts good and then gets tired after three or four rounds.:popcorn.Caroline is nursing an injury so this is not a surprise...

I like Vika.. but I understand you have your reasons.. Vika was trying to show that she has a little "JNDT" with her short shorts.

Serena and Bencic are 2 wins (a piece) away to meet in SF. :popcorn

Also, if Belinda wins 2 more matches, she will enter top 10.

she is trying too hard..:snicker..she is not sexy :popcorn.I think Sumyk was good for her mentally, she soughta calmed down now she is all over the place.
I think she better get rid of her team and find someone mature to guide her.Serena s former hitting partner wants Wim Fissette s job..
I dont see her with Wim if they dont get respectable results this season...

Azarenka beats Wozniacki for what seems like the 5th time this year.
Well, Wozniacki is done I'm afraid. After the break-up with Rory she seemed to get better by the week culminating in what was perhaps the best ever Woz we saw at the YEC. So I thought, "Wow, if she keeps this up she really might do something big in 2015." But unfortunately 2015 is just another 2013 - early 2014 for her. When those USO points from last year come off she's gonna crash face first onto the pavement. She's going from bad to worse on what is supposed to be her best surface. One could even say thhat she's in the early stages of doing a Bouchard. Running that marathon was as big a mistake as I thought it was at the time. She ran very well, but I also believed that there would be a price to pay for that, and she's hardly played a match without an injury or a little niggle here or there ever since.

I think Bencic will struggle some w/ Lucie. She's not used to that lefty serve. We'll see how it unfolds, but I give Lucie a slight edge in this one. It's Thursday and Ana is playing her first match against ES. That one is tough to call. Sloane can play when she wants to, but she had a tough 3-setter last night w/ Mona.

Serena takes on the Daria slayer (Knapp) and after taking down one ball basher, JJ will face another one in Pliskova. I like her chances there.

You do know the girl is not made of stone ....Right? I do not know what you all expect from Serena, it's just so damn unreasonable to me.

I imagine she is feeling the pressure. I think she is approaching it all wrong. She should remind herself that she has at the very least won four in a row and 3 slams this year. If she gets the Calendar Slam awesome, if she doesn't she has still had a banner year another Serena Slam and 3 slams this year. Someone tell her Cincy isn't the U.S. Open and that she can relax.

How can you say you "think she's approaching all wrong" you are not Serena what you think is wrong by your opinion may not be the same for her. Try being empathic and then maybe you can feel or experience what she's going through.

Serena is worried about her game that doesnt seem to be clicking, her ground game needs work and she seems to be losing confidence. She is making a lot of errors something that she had under control, she seems to look at her racket a lot like its not strung well.
She better get it together because they have already started with the psychological warfare, its little subtle things like that fireworks situation and then the locker room thing...its all a plan to rattle her and we know Serena needs to be super relaxed at the Open. She just has to ignore the silly antics and focus on New York.

I wish you would stop that shit about the fireworks. Do you actually thing that they could just throw such a big celebration with in that short space of time? You cannot be that dense to think that. As for the locker room I can't speak to that so I have no comment.

Of course, I am not Serena, and like you said it is my opinion. I am happy with her results this year. I know she is never pleased with herself as she is a perfectionist. It just sucks watching her beat herself up and be far moodier than she has been all year. I also stated she has had a great year regardless of how the U.S. Open turns out, so I think she shouldn't beat herself up too much over the U.S. Open. I understand the significance of what she is trying to achieve and that she wants it badly, but at the end of the day if she doesn't achieve it I am still proud of her for having the opportunity and trying to achieve history.

What is up with Serena? She looked like she wanted to cry all through out Toronto and it looks like that mood carried over into her first Cincy match. Calm down girl and relax! Just hit your serves and your shots.

Please ladies don't be harsh on me for saying this but being a father of teenage daughters and their extremely emotional difficult mother, it could be just pms:blush: that Serena experiencing today.

What? Are you the father of teenage daughters and their mother? :snicker
