Haha, awesome from Robredo giving him 2 middle fingers. Shocking loss for Robredo but fair play to Murray.

Bring out the IV for both parties. They won't be able to stand for the trophy ceremony

After this war, what good will Murray be for the rest of the year? I can't see him doing Paris and in the WTF, he might end up losing all 3 of his RR matches! It's happened to players before who didn't work this hard to qualify! :nono

Both had 39 errors, but Andy had 45 winners to Rob's 39 winners.

He won't be any good for Bercy, that's for sure. He may recover in time for London.

It is pretty bad, but still better than Tiriac's golden tolilet brush or Cinci's 2nd hand vase.

What was the rush? Poor Robredo is still breathing hard from the match and trophy pictures are already being taken! :nono  Did you notice, Andy shook his head? I think the photographers wanted a shot with trophy over his head! He said "NO!" lol! I don't blame him; the tired old sod! :snigger

First trophy with Amelie? Didn't Andy win last week? Or maybe he meant while Amelie was present?

That's what he means yeah, she wasn't in Shenzhen or Vienna.

What an absolutely ridiculous match, great for Andy to come through. I really feel for Tommy but his reaction at the net there was one of the funniest things I've seen for a long time, nice touch.

Not expecting much from my boy in Paris but he should be fit enough for London. Hopefully someone overtakes him next week because if he stays in position as 4th seed for the O2 he doesn't have a chance of ending up in the same group as Stan.

It hasn't necessarily been pretty but the aim was to get to London and only a ridiculous series of events will prevent that now - job done.

Wow that's one of the most entertaining match-points -- and handshakes -- that I can remember.

One of the commentators in the US said it was the longest 3-set match of the year.
