He said that because idiots like yourself, Moxie, and Broken take the numbers of these overwhelmingly meaningless, entirely predictable new "cases" and talk as though your position is being validated. Leading scientists have been saying since March that there are millions of asymptomatic carriers all over the place. So if more people are going now to hospitals for non-Covid-related reasons but all hospitals are testing all patients, it is no surprise that there is an uptick in "cases." It's not because the virus is roaring back with a vengeance. It's simply because more people are being tested.

And what do these new cases confirm? That 99.6% of the time this virus is entirely harmless. I just feel bad for the people dumb enough to actually believe the 120,000 death total figure. That is complete bunk, but by the time the truth comes out about it, no one will care, just like they don't care how wrong they were about "Russian collusion" supposedly happening.
Cali, This isn't the first time that moron said, Slow down the testing. That's the one thing you may have over Trump, intelligence which is definitely not a compliment.

Dude, I offered you an opportunity to prosper..

Dude, you may really like me and like talking to me, but I don't need your assistance. Fortunately I come from a wealthy family where they can shake their dick a little bit and see $100k fall on the ground. (That's a reference to the Randy Moss joke, which is actual black humor that Moxie would not get, given that she prefers testosterone-deficient white males making inane and stale SNL jokes).

As for skin complexion tone. You don't know what you are talking about. (Angela Rye). That's that old Willie Lynch's bullshit, to divide the race is to pit the lighter skin complexion vs the darker. Do you think that light skinned complexion feel that they are closer to be considered Caucasian than the others, Fuck No.

Actually it's an entirely legitimate point of contention. If you knew about Langston Hughes's life, for instance, you would know that when he visited Nigeria, the Nigerians joked to him that he was white because of how light his skin was compared to theirs. So that's a joke made by common-sense people, whether they're white, black, or something else.

That said, I do find it deeply ironic that so many black political luminaries are half-white and came from highly privileged backgrounds (Obama, Kaepernick, Holder, etc.).

Okay, either you're dumb or you're outright lying. If you actually watched the speech, it was clear that he was making the point that all that this widespread testing is doing is finding mild, meaningless "cases" that the media are using to gin up fear. And he is absolutely right about that.

If you need a doctor with credibility who says the same thing, look up Dr. Scott Adams at the Hoover Institution. He was the director of the neuroradiology department at Stanford. He has been making the same point for weeks that Trump did in the speech.

Adams is a better and more consistent scientist than Fauci, btw. We'd be better off with Adams leading the way instead of Fauci.

Larry Elder and those conservative sell outs would get their asses handed to them by the like of Angela Rye, Bakari Sellers and Michael E Dyson..

Hey AntiPusher, since you like touting black left-wing intellectuals, let me give you an example of what happens to them when they face an intelligent right-leaning black person: they get shredded. Leo Terrell has been a black Democrat throughout his life, but he is starting to shift right because of the Democrats' growing idiocy, especially in encouraging blacks to destroy their own neighborhoods.

Now even though Terrell has generally been left-wing throughout his life, I always enjoy listening to him debate and find him entertaining. What he did here to Dr. Cornel West, who is just like Dyson, was priceless. This was one of the funniest political debates I have seen in years. And this is why I am a big fan of Leo Terrell:

I am dumb to respond to your posts but I am far from being stupid. The best possible scenario for the county and the world is for #45 and his vice Klan bitch to get infected by Covid-19. At that point, the proper procedure and protocols would be led by the real scientists who know to handle this virus like country of South Korea. IMO

Democratic governors are the ones responsible for the high death totals in certain places in the United States. It's not Trump's fault that Democratic governors are dumb/incompetent while Republican governors like DeSantis are intelligent:

Hey is for horses, my name is Mr AP. Let me choose who I consider to be left wing intellectuals. I do not have a high opinion of Cornel West. West makes statements almost as dumb as Ben Carson. Laura Coates and Joey Jackson are a better representatives of my way of thinking.

What specifically is your objection to Cornel West? His beliefs are very similar to Dyson’s.

Cornel is wacky and overrated.. Again, I don't need you to choose whom philosophies and beliefs I can identify with from the Left . I don't tell you to follow Trump's puppeteer Bannon or Limbaugh.

Yep Desantis is a real genius. Almost 4000 new cases in less than two days in FL..

Let's get back to your small hands Racist Leader..the occupant of the White House aka Agent Orange. He has about 7 people on advance staffing that has been infected with Covid-19..Its a matter of time..

As a result of all the horrific events that have occurred over the past 6 months, quite a few posters have really enlighten Us ..well really myself how they view people and society as a whole. Yes, for example we all knew Cali was a Racist and a bit of an ASSHOLE. Not a surprise. A few others have really involuntary exposed their inner feelings which is their preogative which is very similar to people we all work with. I am glad because just like a jury selection, you want to know who are not capable of governing their minds with objectivity. It's amazing that even the Truth will not sway a person from what they truly believe. Also, very similar to college life, the most debated topics were Religion and politics. Don't get me WRONG, there are some good people like Moxie and Federerberg who views are opened which is refreshing. However there are others whose views of this world are very ancient and not very progressive. I guess in the very end, life for most is Always going to be a bit of a self fulfilling prophecy.

I agree with you mate. This has been an enlightening period. I think we'll all be grateful for the Trump Presidency (assuming he only has one term), if for no other reason that he has forced society to confront so many ills. I don't think we would have had a #MeToo movement if HRC had won for example. And now we see this #BlackLivesMatter movement gain unbelievable strength. We should be grateful for this. I actually believe that the biggest win, assuming that Trump is removed, will be a reassessment of US democracy. A situation where an unpopular and obnoxious minority focus on restricting the will of the people is untenable in a real democracy. I can only hope that a decisive component of Republicans reflect on this and do the right thing. I have economic views which are probably more closely aligned with Republicans in a lot of cases, but to my mind economics has to be a distant second to the democratic will of the people. This stuff could never happen in the UK. If a political parties views are so against the prevailing will of the electorate they will lose over here. The Conservative party in the UK makes a strong effort to tailor their product to win a plurality of votes. My impression of what's going on in the US at the moment is that GOP politicians have given up the pretence of trying to win the hearts and minds of the people. That is an extremely dangerous thing.

Facebook needs to be fixed
Murdoch and other right wing media outfits need to be fixed
Gerrymandering needs to be fixed

All of these things should be priorities for the first 100 days of a Biden administration. We need to see a Republican party that puts forward an argument for more economically right leaning views that might be attractive to the electorate at large. This is essential for Democrats as it will help them be judicious in their own political aspirations. Proper political discipline on both sides is optimal to ensure good government

by the way have you noticed what's been going on at DoJ? I know some think it's just same old same old, but what if it's in furtherance of an attempt to get the right pieces in place so that they can try to steal the election? There have been several senior DoJ officials who have been moved in recent weeks. It's not just Berman. What I find particularly interesting is that Lindsey Graham, who has now won his primary (one could argue that his sycophancy was purely in order to secure his primary) has now given NY Senators their traditional right to sign off on who can take over SDNY. The next few months will be fascinating

There you go, butchering the English language once again with your subliterate utterances. The word here would be “whose,” not “whom.”

But I was asking you a simple question about political ideas. And of course you could not answer it because concepts like that are above your head. You’re way out of your league with anything of that nature.

As I just said, West’s ideas are very similar to Dyson’s. It doesn’t make much sense to say you like one but not the other. This is just a discussion that is over your head being that you are a typical low-information Democratic Party voter.

Yes, lol. And as usual it’s not what your misinformed ass thinks it is. There is not a lie of the political establishment that you won’t believe. You are their loyal little follower no matter what.

Why do you enjoy getting bitch-slapped by Jonathan Turley’s legal arguments so much? It happened with the impeachment farce and it is happening again with the Berman situation too:

Lol.....”new cases” are meaningless you simpleton. I can only explain this so many times. Look up the word “asymptomatic” and then come back and re-engage this conversation. New cases mean next to nothing because the mortality rate is so low and most people don’t even feel sick when they have this disease, which is almost always harmless.

As for DeSantis: the point is that Florida has a huge elderly population and he did a masterful job of protecting it, while the Democratic governors (especially Cuomo) did a terrible job of protecting the elderly in their states. Do you get it now? Okay, good. We can only hope.

The White House counsel is suppose to advise the Trump and Pence. Trump has appointed Barr as the AG who is essentially over the DOJ to do his bidding. The DOJ is supposed to operate independent of the president however Barr is just rogue.

seems like the health care system in Miami is starting to feel the strain. I really hoped that warmer weather would have some sort of dampening effect. When will this nightmare end! At least now we know, learning from places like Taiwan and Japan that mask wearing is more important than full on social distancing I can only hope that some of these inbred Trump fuckers will just take that on board and do the right thing. It's heartening to see that a lot of his base didn't turn up to the rally. Whether they failed to turn up because they actually believe the facts on covid-19 or they are getting tired of the orange buffoon, either way is a positive sign in my book..

Again, the best scenario for the US and maybe this part of the world is for Trump and his Klan bitch Pence to test positive for Covid-19. Otherwise, his supporters will continue to try divide this country.
