Luice Hradecka is a doubles specialist to start with she has won 3 GS doubles titles so to have a youngster like Noskova along side her is quite exceptional

I have seen matches with Serena where the beads have fallen out during the match.

It was Venus "down under" where it almost caused an international incident! She was young and thought herself a victim when she actually got a point penalty after the umpired warned her about the beeds dropping onto the court causing a disruption in play! She was actually shaking her head letting them "fly!" I had no sympathy since it had been brought up B4! She's supposed t/b so smart! Well, she wasn't showing it that day! :angry-face:

I heard about that, but I thought this was much later with Serena like when I was around 9 or 10 years old when I saw it happen to Serena and her hair.

Again they're touted as great in singles & doubles! Martina was never that lost in playing doubles even as she approached 50 winning '06 MxD! :lol6:
How could Martina not be looked at as a great doubles player if she won that much? That doesn't make any sense at all.

The problem is as time goes along, she's forgotten! Her numbers don't mean anything to the tennis fans out there who favor Serena over Graf! Martina's numbers are out of sight, but she's rarely brought as the GOAT even with 167 singles and 177 doubles titles, & twice as many majors at 59! It's ridiculous! - https://fiero4251.blogspot.com/2016/11/fan-page-borgnavratilova-70s-90s.html -:astonished-face: :shushing-face: :fearful-face: :face-with-hand-over-mouth:
