GG Lopez getting the better of Bautista-Agut, which is not so surprising since RBA was in a final on Sat., and Lopez is good on HC.

Safin used to say, or at least intimate as much, and he won 2 majors.

yea -- but something more from kyrgios -- safin really just like the ''life" , u know? tennis he also liked but he didn't like to just be ''all tennis"

kyrgios says he really prefers OTHER sports, like basketball..on TOP of having fun at the computer games. lol.

but safin he liked other stuff ''about life' - he liked to be alone actually and -- READ BOOKS...few people remember that.

JJ finally gets the break. Obviously, this is far from an ideal first round match for Novak, but Jerzy isn't solid enough to win unless Djoker is really gimpy.

Me, too! I'd be happy to see him come through.

for me GG - has one of the most elegant looking tennis actually.

powerful, so solid - with wonderful variety, aggressive also comes with soft touch when he wants - nice big serves - nice returns and so athletic. just love the way he plays.

true - - it's either JJ'S consistency to really rattle nole's amazing defense - or nole UPS his game seriously. this is a real dangerous player for anyone, we all know.

Cassino style tennis brought a break to Janovic, but lets see No1e's response now.

and LOTS of that power really -- it's rattling nole a bit. because it's not often - even today -- you see players come up with that kind of power REPEATEDLY in a point.

Janowicz ripping those forehands. Where's he been the last couple of years?

MONFILS -- let's all NOT forget he got through today -- and one to watch as dark horse . i want him to continue his improvements - also because it's so late in his career now and he really should have had a chance to take his own GS long ago at leas tget to finals or something. along with TSONGA.

two of the very very best athletes i 've ever seen in tennis. seriously.

Ask @britbox ...Safin didn't like tennis, or much. His mother forced him into it. Yes, he was a reader, and his distractions were more intellectual than Kyrgios', from what I can garner, (sometimes, though not always, by a long stretch,) but they are similar types: wild and wildly talented; crazily entertaining on court, often to their own detriment; and both with an uneasy relationship to the sport that makes them famous and rich.
