Tsonga has been unlucky, in the injury department.

Wow I did not want this for Nole. Poor Jo. Must be bad if he couldn't finish the match. Let's hope he recovers fast!!

It was already 8 players injured and retired, now there are 9 and Novak seems that all his problems are gone, incredible!

Isn't it 10th consecutive USO semi finals for Nole? From 2007-present.

Only 6:26 of play time. This is the strangest tournament in his career, I think.

We should really have a poll for the semifinal between No1e and Monfils. it will have only 4 reasonable choices:

1. Monfils withdraws before the match
2 Monfils retires in the first set
3. Monfils retires in the second set
4. Monfils retires in the third set

this tourney has had a lot of retirements..and pushniaki[s opponent earlier done her ankle and hobbled thru rest of qf loss. in 64mins.

Tsonga retired from winbledon v gulbis a couple years back with knee injury..i think he had an operation on it. if its same leg dunno.

If this is going to continue the same way Novak is going to win the USO without to play one whole match . Be careful Monfils, Delpo, Nishi and Muzz, hope you are not going to be injured too :help:

Novak went from wrist injury, general ennui, a tough draw...to a waltz into the QFs. Surely he is #1, but, at the moment, he is also one lucky bastard.

And at the end many players are injured but not Novak ;)

MOXIE, when you have time read please this article about what is going on with Rafa, it's excellent ! (sorry guys, it's in Spanish but I think Moxie is the only one that can understand)

Thanks for that. I'll read tomorrow, but, on a skim, he says what we all acknowledge...he lost a match he should have won. Lots of work to do.
