Really? I am laughing but kind of offended at the same time....

But I guess you haven't checked all the links. There's no way you would be in doubt if you had...
I thought it was funny, Z. Just too much work to respond. It was one of your weirder ones, it must be said, but bonus points for creativity.

Sock comes back from 0-2 and evens out the match. Can Thompson still pull the upset over struggling Sock

Today I was coming home from work, reading a NYTimes article about Zverer, and all of his extra-curricular obligations due to being #4 seed, and the next big hopeful, only to come home, turn on the TV coverage, and see a personality piece on him. I was wondering if all of this distraction might be too much. That's one of the reasons why I don't think he'll make the final. But he's definitely showing nerves and pressure here. I think he'll get out of this, but what do you guys think about the distractions and the noise for young Sasha?

He is, but it's a classic example of "nothing to lose" v. everything to lose, and the young Zverev, who has thus far had the freedom of youth on his side, is suddenly the guy with the pressure, and much to lose.

Yep, we have seen that before and I don't think Zverev is going to lose but the other guy clearly is pushing him hard and making that he loses a little the control

As they said, it wasn't pretty, but Sasha took the 1st set with assistance from his opponent who had a few points on his own racket! Both suck at the net! :nono:  :banghead: :cuckoo: :ptennis:

Sasha finally puts the set away. I'm going to have to think he'll settle down and get this match behind him now. Gotta get some sleep now.

Does someone know why Patrick McEnroe says something about Roger's back issue but also the Rafa's knee issue? and meanwhile three of the experts are seeing Rafa as favorite

http://www.espn.com/tennis/story/_/...erts-pick-their-winners-year-final-grand-slam

I haven't heard that rafa has any kind of knee issue, other than that practice video , but he finished the practice and everywhere else I go to read about USO/Rafa they say he is fine.

I find those picks very surprising, because the focus is so overwhelmingly on Fed, but that is always the way, with the media. In fact none o f the five picked Fed. Chris is a Federista so if she picks Rafa that says something.
On tennis.com two picked Fed, one Andy, and one Rafa.
If Rafa gets through Dimi I think he will win it. He only gets better and better. The courts here are slower than usual and high bouncing--it's not that slow actually helps Rafa--he has said so himself, what he likes is high bouncing--but that hinders Fed.

But he has to not play as he did in Montreal and Cincy, and that's a big if.
