I felt something subtle change with Genie, shoulders looked slumped and I didn't feel the confidence.

As this match grinds on, I have to favor the Czech, she seems to have more stamina.

I have seen Barbora play and have been impressed with her court coverage. She is giving Genie fits, agree Kiu, the Czech is showing more strength in the third set. But Genie still is gutting it out. She needs this game desperately!

I have been impressed with Genie's return game in this match, she sent everything back. Some return winners and lots of nice deep variety.

Depends on your screen height. If you watch on full screen 16:9 with the picture stretched fully to the top, she looks very fit and very slim. Try and watch streams that show the picture on the whole full screen.
I once went to a live tournament of women tennis and I was AMAZED at how fit and slim they are in reality. It was for players ranked 500-1000 and almost all of them had the bodies of top models! Even the ugly faces

In real life even Petra looks good. Its just the streams which are shrinked in height.

:huh: The question is very simple. How much self belief has Genie gained in last matches.
If she has doubts in her self she will lose because Makarova is a smooth operator. If Genie is confident then its two easy sets for Justin Beaver.
