the Venus beater is gone...what else is new.Zheng went on to kiss Carla on both cheeks ...hating on the sisters but forgetting how the Spanish Fed Cup mocked the Chinese in 2008.

I am always amazed at how protective you can get towards the sistas, Zheng kissed Carla on both cheeks because the Spaniard does that in evrey match let her, have you seen Venus letting anyone kiss her other than her sister?

The ESPN crew is making such a big hoopla about the American

Crowd cheering for Monfils vs Isner and Big John speaking out

about not liking it.

I don't remember any big out cry when for years the crowds were

pulling against the Williams Sisters for players from other countries

The media just pulled out the old " underdog " card Even when

at times, according to the rankings, the Sister was the underdog
I kinda enjoyed the crowd cheering for Monfils...how many times does this happen in USA ...for a crowd choosing to cheer on a person of color over a white person..
Isner looked angry:laydownlaughing

No, Isner was very gracious and positive about the crowd enjoying Gael's type of game. He said it was fun and you can tell at the net that they are probably friends socially.. Monfils is one of the best "showman" on the tour and always a crowds favorite regardless who is across the net. It was a good match..

Hey, Tossip.. Sloane made it to the next round.. She gets to play Serena hopefully.. God Bless her because Serena will be very focused

In his pressor John said he was ticked off about it

sorry.. I didn't know that he said that

And by the look on his face it looked like he was just

bustin at the seams to go off about it but he kept himself

in check and as pc as he could be.

This is becoming ATP subject!
Big John had an emitional victory me thinks.
He is shouldering this USA-top-man BS pretty well, me thinks again!

It's 11:42 PM and Serena is warming up.
Yaroslava Shvedova is a big opponent at 5' 11", Serena is smaller than her.
Here we go!

this is horrible scheduling and its not fair at all..this is reminding me of 2011.They should have scheduled Del Potro after Serena because he is very slow and hopefully this is not to give Sloane an unfair advantage...
this is USTA for y all..

Early on, Serena aced the third point of the match.
Yaroslava is trying to outhit Serena and come to the net, but the she came on to the net and didn't know she has to lounge to one side or another, just stood there and Serena passed her.
Serena held again.
This should be over soon, NO ONE outhits Serena!

Serena quickly realized her opponent was trying to outgun her, Serena knows no one can outgun her, she hit against the best gunners, her sister! And learned how to outhit them...
So, she broke on the 6th game of the first set, at love, to go on and win the set 6-3

We will have a Serena vs. Sloane!

Unlike what Calvy says, I say Serena has gained weight since the French Open and Clay season.

I have a life to live Kiu and concerts to attend. But I'm here now and from the looks of the scoreboard, I haven't missed much.

You miss Vikki interview?
She was in the booth with Chrissie and that other Tennis guy.

Serena has this one in the bag K.

You did miss Hewitt kicking Delpo's butt!

I guess I did miss something important if I missed Vikki. What other Tennis guy? Earlier I called a tight match between DP/Hewitt. Hewitt beat DP at a grass warm-up event this year.

Yep Serena is ready for the 4R. Bring on the all-American R16 on Ashe Sunday afternoon.

The announcer with deep voice, I am not good with names unless it's female name!
I remember Chrissie!

Day 5 dragged into day 6...

The difference tonight is, Serena continues to place clay court tennis, but, when she adds depth to her shots, it all the difference from struggles and decisively emphatic victories.

Interestingly, Serena let Schedova shake the chairs hand first.
