Uncle Cliffy is squealing like a little girl over these points. He almost called out before the point was over

If the air temp is 93, add at least another ten degrees for the on court temps

I get so sick of his commentary. He's always spouting off about something or other and quoting the wrong stats. Like today when he saw Naomi in the crowd, he said she won the USO two times consecutively, which is hard to do and adds her name to an elite list. Hello, Naomi didn't defend her USO title. She won it in 18 and 20, not two consecutive years... :thumbs-down:

Tennis players aren’t exactly the brightest minds out there.

From an interview with Federer:

Q. The experience comes from yourself or some experts like Dr. Freud?

ROGER FEDERER: Don't know him. Who is he?

Q. He was an expert from psychology.

ROGER FEDERER: I don't know.

Q. He was a Swiss, too.

ROGER FEDERER: Is that right? Nope, never needed him.
Fuuuuuck. You just killed my Roger fandom.

By the way, I heard they semi closed the roof to cut down on the horrible shadows that appear on court for the day matches.

I think that was to provide shade for players and fans. That's what I heard yesterday, when they also did it.

Then it's dual purpose, because it does help w/ the weird shadows on court, but it makes the stadium extremely stuffy because you're blocking the open flow of the wind.
