You are right there. Imagine him being broken twice in a set by Djokovic. The set would be over.
Sadly for me:-)2, but Novak is also breakable. Look at Rogers return game. This high aggression and precision Novak doesn’t like.
This is above Stanislas or the fucking Austrian guy.
Goffin looks like an amateur.

Some of the forehands that Roger is hitting today give me hope. His form curve from the first match to today also gives me hope. But like Red said in Shawshank Redemption, hope is a dangerous thing, it can drive a man insane. But then Dufresne said hope is a good thing and no good thing ever dies. Pick your pick...

The problem I have with Brad Gilbert is that when Rafa comes from a break down and wins a set, he will tell you that Rafa made adjustments. When other players come back from a losing position, he tells you that the player who had the lead simply broke themselves.

make that 8 of 8. Remember the days when Fed's BP conversion was like 1 out of 10 or worse

Note to self: Don’t ever bother watching a Goffin match again.

Every time I think he is going to put up some sort of a fight against the big3 he ends up collecting games which you can count with a single hand. Patetic.

Fed missed one BP conversion on the first match point. Ends up with 9/10 on BP conversion with three breaks in each set.

Fed's return game is promising and the forehand also seems to be coming back.:cheerleader:

Poor Goffin w/b lit'l more than fodder for the elites w/ no weapons besides his quickness around the court! Nole/Stan match s/b stellar! ;-)

Hope not. I wish Stanislaus will disappear quickly:-)2.
Novak needs all of his energy for the last two matches against Roger and maybe the roaring cow.

I have a bad feeling about tonight's blockbuster. These 2 haven't played since the final in USO16. Novak is due to revenge that loss, but Stan has nothing to lose once again and we all know how he can play then. Good thing they are not meeting in the final.

Apparently David had pulled a ham string,no wonder he looked disengaged.

Stan hasn't been the same since his knee surgeries but he's been pretty good this tournament. So we have a 34 year old 3 time slam winner trying to make a statement after many have written him off playing a slightly wounded duck in less than great form by his standards. Stan's gotta smell blood and Novak knows that and the physicality needed to win today will end up weakening him up for the next rounds even if he wins. Tough one. A lot of course depends on whether Stan plays to potential or comes in a bit flat. If he plays well, he could overpower Novak, especially if he targets his backhand as he's been slicing a lot. Gonna go with Stan overpowering him. Won't be able to watch as it's on at 1:15 am here but have a hunch I'll wake up to see Stan has won.
