I do not think he will turnaround against Nadal BUT him playing hard and winning even he is not playing well is an encouraging sign. At the very least, he is showing that he does indeed like tennis even with all the distractions going around him off the court.

In my opinion, after the US Open, he should just shut down his season so he could mentally reset. Watching him play right now he is just mentally struggling right now. Playing more tennis (at least after this US Open) will not help him mentally.
I think he's too young for that. He has to battle through and get his head right.

Shapo is playing solid tennis right now. This level could have gotten him deep into many tournaments but he literally wasted half the year...Maybe he needed to, who knows.
I mentioned earlier today, it looks as Youzhny had already helped him in the short time frame he joined his team.

Berrettini wins over the Aussie, and Monfils evens his match with Shapo at a set a piece.

Glad to see my young Aussie Alex still battling hard in his match
Although he lost to the Italian hunk, he seems to play well in slams, above his current ranking.
He should get up around 50 or so ranking in a few months.

Eva Asderaki in the chair, I think. I hope she has her seatbelt on.

Kyrgios says he can't see anything but he is serving aces.

Nick had drops put in his eyes, and has been chuntering to his box that he can't see anything. No idea what this is about, unless he just needs something to complain about.
