Again on a positive note, the court speed seems to be right for Roger. He cannot handle super fast anymore. Close this one out, sleep it off, work on some serves and movement to the forehand side tomorrow.

Although this sounds paradoxical, I agree with you. It is true that Fed would prefer fast as opposed to superfast these days against most players.

Having said that, I think Fed still has better chances on superfast than fast against Nadalovic.

@Front: Alert...Cahill says that the young Sinner is like Robin Soderling. Maybe you have a new potential favorite!

Must check out highlights later but too little too late. By the time these guys reach their peaks the big 3 will be well gone.

Better believe it brother. He himself mentioned it last year too, how it was super fast, changing the direction of the ball was a big struggle. (Talking about Cincy) The thing is, you can see it yourself. He cannot defend like he used to so super fast courts hurt him too against players who can hit deep.

I feel like Dubai, Halle. Cincy, Shanghai, and Basel are still fast and some are probably his best tournaments at this point.

I agree with fast, but super fast like Cincy is starting to hurt him. Not on offense but on defense. Halle, I would put that one in a different category of fast. Roger is playing Halle differently than hard courts but he USED TO play Cincy just like Halle and he does not anymore. Maybe he cannot.

I just think he's mentally rattled man. I didn't see the match vs Rublev and it sounds like the guy played well but Cincy is still probably a good hunting ground under normal circumstances. Even last year he was playing like total ass after Indian Wells and the only tournaments he went deep in were Halle, Cincy and Basel.

Rublev is a beast. When people like you laughed at Rafa's draw at one of his USOs because of the QF vs Rublev, I knew that you guys knew nothing about tennis. It was one of the most difficult draws ever. Federer could never get through a Rublev QF, Del Potro SF and Anderson F back to back in a slam. Not even in his wildest dreams! But the punishment of Fed fans who insulted Rafa's draw is that all these players have beaten Federer in the last couple of years. Karma is real. :bye:
