Oh, I get it. But they really spoil the matches for me...all of this hoping for Rafa to lose and etc. So I don't check in during his matches anymore.

Completely understandable. The taunting, nasty speculations and childish bashing just fits their agenda so I see where it just becomes tiresome.

Just saddens me a bit that the forum loses your voice during these Rafa matches, that’s all.

Nadal been playing better tennis the last 2 months, so No suprise that fedheads are going mad every Nadal match, good thing he's winning most matches even on hard courts.

De Minaur has earned my respect with his fighting spirit. His speed around the court is jaw-dropping.

I’ve changed my mind about Kyrgios. He seems to be a good guy, although mentally unstable. I hope he gets some help because tennis is more interesting when he’s playing.

Am cheering on Del Potro as Federer has already won a GS this year. Anyone but Djokovic and Nadal, PA-LEEZE. LOL

I’d be thrilled if Potro won the title. After those surgeries and long road back, how could anyone begrudge him the win here?

hope Juanito can do it but I don'"t think he will...he's so fragile that an injury can happen suddenly, keep my fingers crossed but I guess Nole has a better chance

I wouldn’t discount Cilic , he’s won it before and that five set win over Alex could relax him just enough.

Then again we are talking Cilic.

It would be cool if Del Potro wins another slam but only after Nadal breaks the slam record. So I’d say 2020 USO can go to Del Potro!

I am not a nutritionist or anything but Nole looks malnutritioned to me, and this is with cameras adding a few pounds . I think he should add about 10 pounds of muscle to that frame and that would not slow him down or make him any less flexible.

He's looking a lot more fit than earlier this year and last year. Apparently he was only eating a vegetarian diet and has recently added back fish.

Lendl was the same kind of player; took nutrition a fitness to the extreme that made him look emaciated, but that's how they do it; being extra light and flexible giving them more confidence! Sports is all about confidence in performing in the crunch! All these players are GOOD, but the elite are a different breed! Their success belies any of our notions about what they "should have done!" Lendl and Djokovic are the poster children for their era of play and what they did to shape it when at the top! :yesyes:  :ptennis:

Would definitely not be sad to see DelPo win this title. Although I was hoping Coric would play much better last night and win or push him. DelPo way too good last night though. And then of course Coric gave up.

Thrilled to see Nishikori back in the quarters here. Hopefully he can manage to stay healthy the rest of the tournament (hoping he makes the semis, or final if Djokovic beats Fed).

Sousa giving a good account of himself so far. Hangin in there in the second set.

Also, I'm no fashion guy, but Djokovic's Lacoste shirt is my favorite shirt outfit of the tournament. Maybe of the year.

I’m really torn about whether to root for Djoke. He has the best chance of beating Nadal, but that means he takes out Fed in the process.

I'm not torn at all, if Fed makes the final he has a good shot regardless of who is across the net. The one guy he doesn't have a good chance against is Djoker
