After lot of drama, Veradsco puts Murray away. He needed to save multiple break points while serving for the match and also survive a time violation.

He's just a very unlikable a-hole who plays one of those hideously ugly games of just running down balls and allowing opponent UFE's! He decided quite a while ago to change his game to compete with Fedalovic! He went to work on his body and just worked out on court to find a way to get every ball back which in turn has devastated his body! He'll be in a wheelchair before 45! He had a more aggressive game and S & V at times! These last few years got him what he wanted by being #1 for about 5 min. and owning 3 majors, but at what cost? :whistle:

Del Potro through his first match and a half has been playing incredibly. Also De Minaur looked super impressive in the first round. Does anyone think Delpo could challenge Rafa in a rematch of the US Open semi. I think he has a chance to really push Rafa.

There are many nextgen players around. Some will do better, others not.
I think they will do better than Wimbledon, where all were wiped out in the R16.
But unlikely to see 2 of them in the SF like at the AO, where Chung and Edmund broke through.
