Djoker dropped a set to "no one gives a fucs". I wonder if he is wilting in the heat.
I thought Fucsovic was featuring a bit this year. Anyway, I kinda do agree with those that say that Djokovic shouldn't have been mucking around on such an awful day. And I noticed that Roger didn't. And believe me, it was still miserable when he played today.

This dude was high enough to have a decent protected ranking?
I'm sure you remember Nishioka. He's done some interesting things. And he held his head up at the end.

The cunty US Open director has gone to heavier balls year after year. F him
Nice with the language. Full on c-word, and then you get delicate on the F-bomb? You're as tetchy as porcupine these days. I'm not sure about "heavier balls," but I have to say that conditions here are incredibly heavy. As humid as it is, they will pick up weight. Today was very oppressive. (Look at the retirements.) And tomorrow set to be worse.

Then I guess it comes down to your training and conditioning. If you know it’s hot, all the more reason to take care of business in straights and not let a scrub hang around

It seems to be "survival of the fittest," in this kind of weather. Not just about hydrating. And taking care of business in 3, if you can.

Good test to see where Murray is at with his comeback - Verdasco.

Thiem/Steve Johnson - Dominic has flattered to deceive on hard courts. Johnson is a dangerous match for him.

tricky match for Sir Andy, Tabasco's able to play well when he's in (Manacor's bull remembers it...)

Schett asking why Fed always have night match at such hot days...of course, Mat made evading answer with some bypass.

Why, strange why. Pilgrims cover tennis at night and hate hot day ? Probably yes. Also, true, bad day for Muzza today. It will be even more hot than yesterday. And Delpo, bad time for "returning".

Anyone saw Fed playing at 34 ?

Name me a sport that doesn't put their biggest draw in primetime matches? He is a far bigger draw than anyone else and the tournament wants to make money so it is an easy decision.

It IS really as simple as that.

Here's the supporting fact. If giving Roger special treatment was their primary interest instead of the $, then they'd make the conditions fast like in Cincy. Night match or not, Roger could then make it to QF half asleep. Still not convinced? Why would they put Roger in Djoker's quarter? I am sure Roger isn't happy. I'm guessing but they must've calculated that if not an unlikely Fedal blockbuster, they'll at least get a Nadalovich spectacular. Perhaps they got stiffed in the Nadal-Anderson ratings. They don't mind stiffing Roger now.

Agree, with 2 more matches like yesterday, maybe even one more, QF for Novak is just a dream. So lets have $$$ Fed-Nadal.

Whatever, considering the GOAT, i will have to calculate all off that.

Master of coin is taking it to the young hero unfortunately. I guess he has somewhat of a hot hand after winning the tournament last week.

Stan had a tough first set with a 20 year old. Anyone know much of this kid?

Stefanos was 2 sets and a break down 4-2 in the 3rd. He's now sent it to a 4th.
