How many times does he pick? Before the tournament started, he picked the QF, SF and the eventual winner. He had Kerbie defending her title. :devilthe AntiPusher said:The kiss of death:deadhorse Tignor has made his picks : Raonic, Grigor and Serena

Be hilarious if they all lost. Really, Tignor's predictions ARE THAT BAD.
Front242 said:Yeah but he got none of the semifinalists right. I'll cut him some slack though cos no one expected Murray and Djokovic to lose so early.

would rather watch a competitive final than a beat down

Because Fed and Nadal haven't played competitive finals? Outside of the French, we have the following:
2006 Wimbledon - Fed in 4 sets
2007 Wimbledon - Fed in 5 sets
2008 Wimbledon - Nadal in 5 sets
2009 Australian Open - Nadal in 5 sets
Even in the 4 finals they contested at the French Open, Fed only lost one final in straight sets (the others in 4). That one time was, of course, 2008, the only match between them that really qualifies as a "beat down". Even Rafa seemed a bit embarrassed after that scoreline!
And what about Murray-Djokovic?
2011 AO - Djoker in 3
2012 USO - Murray in 5
2013 AO - Djoker in 4
2013 SW19 - Murray in 3
2015 AO - Djoker in 4
2016 AO - Djoker in 3
2016 FO - Djoker in 4
So, there have been more straight-sets defeats and fewer 5-set matches in the Murray-Djokovic GS finals than in the Fed-Nadal finals. Or in other words, a Fed-Nadal final lasted, on average, 4.25 sets, while a Murray-Djoker final lasted 3.7 sets.
Of course, it's been a long time since Roger and Rafa met in a final, so we don't know what will happen tomorrow. But, although Nadal is the favourite, I do expect the final to be competitive.
