I like this young lady. She had a powerful game. If she keeps training and working hard she could break into the top 50 or better. At 5'11, Osaka kind of remind me of Pliskova.

This is embarrassing. Out of 32 seeded players, only a maximum of 15 can reach 3rd round (there are still 5 more matches to go). So, there were more seeds who went home than who made it to R3.
