Sure right Caroline with all those chances to win the match. Her stats for AO is now perfect:
2011: Semifinal 2012 Quarterfinal 2013 4th round 2014 3rd round 2015 2nd round 2016 1st round
Ir can only be better from here. Well she met a player today who never gave up and a Caroline who lost her mental strenght in 3rd set. Come again Caroline - use your time well before the next tournament in St. Petersbourg. What about joining the mix tournament if it's possible. :nono

The problem, Caroline, is you will never get rid of your father as coach. Your career is done with him as your coach.sk310 said:hoergren said:As Caroline said after her loss

I really love Caroline. I just don't understand this fall from the heights of late 2014. What is the issue here?

Almost NOBODY was predicting a Serena loss. There's VERY few commentators who didn't predict Serena to win the whole thing. Stop acting like the world is against Serena and you are the only one supporting here.
its obvious you dont read the tennis news online......all the media people and some commentators from all over the world were just dismissing her even on the AO16 website this person wrote a report on how Camilla is going to easily beat Serena like she is superior..I dont want to mention names because some are reporters that are always interviewing the players...sk310 said:tossip said:and everyone was pencilling in Caro as Serena s 4th round opponent...the media was predicting a Serena loss like they are wishing she loses early and not get to number 22.

Indeed she's the first seed out and Sloane is in big trouble against Wang - didn't see that coming.
Yep. Ebony Smooth down a set and 5-3

Actually, its more likely her type of game, the constant retrieving, running down every ball, not cutting points shorter with aggressive play.
The same thing happened with Jankovic and Radwanska, two players with similar type of games. They have two years of really consistent tennis and results, then fall down the ranking, and occasionally have months where they play and win consistently, but never have a full year of solid results.
It goes back to the type of games they play which is very physical, and takes a toll both physically and mentally.

AO is not complete without Sam Stosur embarrassing the aussies by losing in the center court.:devil
she is pathetic..:snicker...last year at the Open she was complaining about Serena to no end...now she has the privilege of being top dog in her country..she messes up..year in year out its the same old nonsense..kskate2 said:GameSetAndMath said:kskate2 said:Stosur drops the opening set to Karolina's sister.

And usually to a nobody. Like last year wasn't it Coco? You have to be pretty bad slam winner if you cannot defeat Coco Puffs in your home tournament. :cover
