War of the Worlds - Jeff Wayne. Excellent narration by my fellow countryman Richard Burton. Something to put on in the background when you're doing stuff. Eventually you'll figure it out to be a masterpiece in it's own right. Perfect ebbs and flows.

There’s some commercial on the Tennis Channel which uses this as background music, so I can’t stop thinking about it.

Andreas Bocelli and Sarah Brightman. "Time to say Goodbye". Bocelli is famously blind (freak football/soccer injury when 12 years old) - it's said when you lose one sense, others improve to fill in the gap. Whatever it was, he has a terrific voice and great harmony with Sarah Brightman (famous for her work with Andrew Lloyd Webber in the West End - Phantom etc..)

I never knew that’s how he lost his vision. That must have been particularly difficult to adjust to, vs. being born blind or blinded at a young age when you can’t remember seeing. I love this song, though. It’s a chilling performance.

"Malaguena Salerosa" is one of those Mexican songs you either nail it or don't even try.

Angela Aguilar is very young (maybe 18 when she recorded this song) but is literally from Mexican Music royalty. Her Grandparents were Antonio Aguilar and Flor Silvestre and his father is Pepe Aguilar , that's like saying your GP's were Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald and your father was Paul McCartney.

She is very talented so no nepo baby charges against her... : )

Going back many years, "Rule Britannia" was perfectly acceptable when I started school - the days when you had assemblies, national anthems...

This is quite a tune.

By the time I left school, kids were being taught the opposite. The truth is probably somewhere in between.

Well isn't it time to chill with a band of sisters? Well here is THe Warning from Mexico - three sisters Daniela "Dany" 23 single guitar , Paulina "Pau" 21 drums and Alejandra "Ale" 18 bass Villarreal Vélez. They all play piano. 10 years as a band. Supporting Muse this summer in Europe after they end their US tour.
