It's a pity this got discontinued as I think we need somewhere like this just to chat about everything we want to which doesn't have it's own section or we're having an ideas surge which in my case doesn't just stay on 1 subject or just want to have a laugh & joke because you do it elsewhere & sometimes you're fine but at other times you're in the firing line sometimes because you decide to play with words for a bit of fun or you decide to take someone's joke seriously to see what they'll say or you answer 1 comment or part of the comment instead of putting it into context with the whole conversation because you want to answer 1 comment or part of a comment. I think in rhyme sometimes so then I can put my ideas into my poetry section but at other times I don't spontaneously come up with something in poetry format & what I have to say doesn't go anywhere else or something someone else said has really made me think & I just need to get all my ideas down. This sometimes happens when we haven't seen someone for ages. We also need somewhere where chats stay friendly instead of people getting nasty with others because they disagree about something & a prime example is I'm glad I'm a patriotic Brit who wants a Brit to win tennis games although I know I get laughed at for it until I say optimistically I want that but realistically I know it won't happen because there is so much animosity between Nadal fans & Federer fans though I'm aware some of this is banter. I'm sure a lot of people feel this way.

I agree. The only thing that would have made it funnier in my opinion is if 1 of those bad serves was by John McEnroe, the umpire called "Out" & McEnroe started all his "You cannot be serious. That wasn't out it was in." & tennis racquet-throwing performance. Lol.
