Looks like it's going to come down to the Doubles. Stepanek is just too strong and experienced for Lajovic.

Berdych plays well at DC but so does Nole. I am impressed at the sight of Nole's stamina. What a long season for him.

Sounds very cool. You've got the life of a Prince! I have no plans tonight so basically I am going home to do some housework. But I tell you what, whether I am spending the night alone or I am at a party dancing away, Friday night is still the best night for me!!

The Czech may get it this time. Looking good for them. Even their doubles team is better than the Serbians. I'll be happy either way. I love Berdych. And I love the pair of Stepanek and Paes. So it's a win win!

I am always having a blast on the ocean.


I took some pics of a brown pelican I came across today but the pics were not too good. iphone camera wont give you the best shots.

I did not have my other camera with me.


it seems like me and brown pelicans have found a way to get along. I like them a lot.

I have created some images on real, heart shaped fig leaves. I have incorporated brown pelicans in quite a few of them.

the new Orleans basketball team has also changed its name to "Pelicans" now.

I thought Florida was pelican country. I associate the Louisiana swamps with nutria rats, egrets and blue heron. I once went on a swamp tour in Mississippi…this time of year. Rather dreary, and not so much fauna on offer. Just lots of fog, atmosphere, Spanish moss, and endless grey. Then we spotted a blue heron. At first blush, it is long and elegant, but not that impressive. Then it spread it's magnificent wings and swooped right past us, in all it's blue and white and gray, as if to tell us off for ever selling it short.

Louisiana and Mississippi gulf coast is pelican country.
