Shame for Raonic, but probably for the better. Hopefully he will be able to play Wimbledon, where his chances are better anyways, and this moves Mr. Loudpants up to No. 8. That's a plus.

Pity for Milos, but he's better to spend more time on recovery, and then preparing for grass. He wouldn't have been much use in Paris, anyway...

Stop saying that please. He was a QF last year.

That's a surprise, but even still, he wouldn't have come straight back from surgery and done as well. He's better to skip it and prepare for Wimbo, where he should be okay...

EDIT: That's if he gets angry. Remember just before he faced Federer in the semis in Cinci, he said he was gonna get mad after how he dropped a calf in routine fashion at Wimbo? Then the old geezer dismissed him 2 & 3 in Cinci... :snicker

Stan is the obvious big beneficiary from this, as it makes him the 8 seed.

Not sure who, if anyone else is out to see who now becomes the 32 seed.

Verdasco would now become #32 seed. Good for him (and also for others).

Michael Berrer who gave the first loss of the year to Rafa has won two matches in Quals.
One more match win and a good draw ..............:plot

Your giddy anticipation of a Nadal loss has moved onto grasping at straws. Try to get ahold of yourself, GSM.

well, this migth be shock, Nadal meets early with Djoker, if he loose, he migth be out of Top 10.

I think meeting in QF helps Djoker more than Nadal, since Nadal has 4 potential match to get "ready".

If Rafa will lose in the QF, he will drop to 11 in ATP ranking.

What about if Novak loses before or against Nadal ( which wouldn't be any surprise)?

Nothing serious would change, he would stay No.1 loosing once again from Nadal on RG.
