Rafa's terrified of dogs. I don't think you'll see one in the Nadal household any time soon.

dull has kept dogs to ward off his crazy fangirls specially the fat ones like the OP.

yes the big 3 all have 5 year end number ones but nadal YEOs just a little better with all the injury's+ having three records with the best one being oldest ever Year end number 1.
Confusing statement. How is Nadal’s YEOs better?

1. at the age of 33 nadal was the oldest person to finish as year end number one] 2. nadal become the first player to finish to hold, lose and regain the year end no.1 four occasions] 3. nadal become the first player to finish as the year end no.1 five times non-consecutive years] 4.. the eleven gap between nadal first year end no.1 season [2008] and his last [ 2019] was also a record.

It is amazing how people create records out of bad things. It is only difficult to become YE#1 continuously like Pete did. If you do it in non-consecutive years, it is ok and you can talk about the total number of years, he finished YE #1. But, you for sure don't want to tout the non-consectutiveness as though it is a virtue.

Then he will buy a rabbit and name it Roger. And I'm not fat, but you downgraded probably half of the human population so congratulations!

because you read my post below nadal has 5 records with the best being the oldest year end number one.

The longevity #1 is also epic. For example Federer managed to be the best for the year only between 2004 to 2009, that's a very short span. That's like Rafa never having the year end no.1 after 2013. Rafa's span is from 2008 to 2019 which is a much longer longevity against tons of different opponents and generations of players.

wow your right I did not think of that, only a genius like yourself has these ideas nadal reign at world number one is much longer than both Federer+djokovic with much harder players. of course Federer the worse of them all with he's YEO coming before Djokovic and nadal reached their peak still great by Federer, but anyway this just shows that nadal been at the top of tennis longer than anyone so thanks for bring it up.

Well that's why I said it won't be broken anytime soon. Most records will eventually be broken but I genuinely don't see that one being broken for a long, long time. It'll take a decade on tour where there is basically not much competition and one absolute animal on top beating everyone. Chances are slim.

I think you’re right. And it took a Herculean effort for Sampras to do it six consecutive years. Seven? I don’t see it.

But, I never got the impression that Pete liked all that. It was more of a chore for him. He himself has said in interviews so much to that effect.

That’s my impression as well. If he could do it all over, I don’t think he would prioritize that so highly.

Wow it means that Federer has sucked for a total of 10 years, embarrassing.
the last time Federer was on top in men tennis was 2009 only because nadal was injured he even said himself he had great chances to end number no.1 in 2009,2012].
