Man when this man retires I just don't know what I'll do. Of course he's not at the top of his powers anymore. He's lost a step and this and that. But he's just so amazing. Does everything so wonderfully. Sets up and prepares for everything so perfectly. And just uses so much variety it is not even funny.

His signature one-two punch, serve to the forehand put away the cross court return with his own forehand down the line is seriously kickin it today.

Hooraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! 1st set Del Potro! This Del Potro guy, he's more consistent than Federer. Federer is blazing winners just like his prime, but the inconsistency is his undoing. Del Potro need not take unnecessary risk, knowing that Federer is not consistent enough this year.

Deep return gets Delpo the first set.

I think Roger played one of the best tennis of the season in the first, so I am not sure how he would look at this loss. Should he feel good about it because he played really well, or does it demoralize him because he played good and still lost?

He has to improve his second serve points won percentage though...

Similar to the Rafa Cincy match...if this is Roger playing well then he truly is done. The thing most noticeable is that Roger no longer has even a good slice let alone one of the best ever. That is the movement and footwork. A good slice could still cause DP a lot of trouble...

He must have read this after the changeover because he is suddenly getting a lot of bite on the slice. Good to see!
