Another day to wait for Caro and the top seeds to play.

Meanwhile...

Petko v Ana sounds AWESOME!
Sabine better win this one, she got an easy first rounder, although against an Italian, aren't they all clay specialists?

And then there's Elena!

Yoohoo!

Li got the easier draw. Pova has to get through several difficult opponents to defend. I would be surprised if she did. I hope we see a Pova vs Mona match.

Gotta get up early in the morning to see Caro.
SS vs. JJ should be okay for me to watch, works better in my time zone.

Anyone watch any matches today?
I was really busy and did not watch any.

Caroline Caroline - wake up and concentrate on what you're doing. You're in a slump right now and I'm a bit (to say the least) worried for your future red clay season. Lack of concentration and an inspired Navarro did it to her. Well - next tournament. Send Rory out playing golf before the next tournament:(

Going by this performance I think that Wozniacki is done as an elite player. The way that second set went without her putting up much of a fight is worrying to say the least if you're a Caro supporter. Her fighting spirit used to be her best quality. Now it looked as though she didn't really wanted to be there. Very disappointing.

This early loss should cause worry in the Wozniacki camp, this is the second time this year....Other than Kerber, Caro has not beaten anyone in the top 10 this year and we know how bad Kerbie has been this year.
Rory is not doing that good himself, he was not a factor at the last major.

The Germans are playing spirited Tennis, two of them already in the second round and right now Annika Beck is giving Petra all she can handle.

Roberta Vinci was upset as well. Roberta injured her shoulder, lost the match and now the #1 doubles team of Errani and Vinci are out too.

Hi, my name is Petra Kvitova, and I have the game to be a pain in the ass to any player, but mostly, I am a pain in my own ass.

Well Hoergren, the link you provided and I tracked down to this:
http://www.ran.de/de/tennis/video/1304/wta-tour-porsche-tennis-grand-prix-stuttgart-livestream-live.html

This link does not work for me, I think the Video is blocked outside of EU

So I had to resort to the old streamhunter site:
http://www.streamhunter.eu/tennis-live-streaming-video.html

I am watching JJ and Sam
:)

It doesn't mean they will play well because the color has reverted back. The actual issue was with the quality of the clay and court and not the color of it. The drainage system was actually what was found to be the fault with the courts or lack there of I should say. I would say we will still probably have a few naysayers when it comes to the clay here until it has had time to establish itself a bit more with use.

BMS beat up on Yanina and got rid of her in straight sets!
That was a first for BMS, she was 0-3 against Yanina before today.

Where is that order of play?
Masha and Li should be in action tomorrow.

Interesting enough, I was thinking the same thing. But, to honest, she hasn't been an elite player in sometime, over a year I'd say.

The problem is, as the number 1 player, there tends to have a edge over most of their opponent even before the matches begin, being as the opponent has in the head, "I'm playing the number 1 player!" Caroline no longer has the advantage and many of the ladies have improved whereas she really hasn't.

JJ beats Slammin' Sammy in straights, final score 6-4 6-4
#3 seeded doubles team got knocked out by a couple of German Widcards too.
One more match in progress and then we are done for the day here.

Things just aren't happening for Sam this year. Not looking like a good start to her clay season where she usually shines. Good win for Jelena she might just be the spoiler at the French Open this year.
