Mikhael is 18 and Elias is 20. I think that Rafael is the youngest.

That's what I was thinking. Mikhael looked younger to me, so I was confused when the commentator called them twins. Thanks for the information.

replay of the DELPO DIMITROV match --

really shows how BIG delpo's game is by contrast.

dimitrov - for all his talent which IS considerable -- really is made to look ''boyish" in my eyes. and THAT'S with delpo making mistakes just by himself.
how much more if ALL his guns are firing in really top, top health, fitness and match form? it would be frightening, i think.

i remember clearly when i first saw delpo play -- he won his first clay court - tiny, tiny title in argentina when he was , i think 18..just the year before his USO - and i thought 'that guy is frightening -- especially if he makes that serve fit his power and size" because THAT TIME HE wasn't even hitting serves the way he eventually showed...(and still we know or sense that he can probably UP that part as a weapon some more) ...

i was so impressed then not just at his power but his finesse already and his movement for such a big guy. just lucky the TV at that time actually showed some of those small tournaments also.

in any case he does have that big game that makes Dimitrov seem to lose belief in HIS own game...it seems?like it makes DIMITROV feel that

"i am a jeep against a TANK running at 80 miles per hour." lol.

or the german ''panzer" today thinking of going up aginst the russian new ARMATA T-90.S hehe....no contest...lol.

does that make sense ?

It makes sense to me. That's the feeling I've always gotten about Dmitrov. It's like the hype has scarred him. Maybe if they would've let him be, he may have found his own way, but the constant comparisons and waxing poetically about all of his "talent" has caused a severe reversal of fortunes instead. Dmitrov needs to get out of his own way, go back to the drawing board and ignore all of the "talk." That talk has caused him to feel unnecessary pressure throughout his career. It's also why players like Thiem, Zverev, Pouille, and the rest of NextGen can come out and play their games. Dmitrov wasn't given that opportunity. When they overhype players, it causes some of them to feel too much pressure and they can't perform at their highest level because of the expectations.

I agree. Jack's progression has been impressive. Good luck to the combatants.

i like the way he's 'quiet' in his personality, very understated..i mean not comparing with others ..

each one has a personality we can like - others are more boisterous, others are very overtly intense, others are more stoic, others boyish or girlish, etc..each one they have a personality that's nice or goes well with their game.

but i like best when a player's particular personality is MATCHED by his or her game.

this is the way i also like jack sock. he moves about like a 'nobody'

but his game ''matches' in the OPPOSITE way...it's the game a ''somebody".

he most reminds me in this ''mismatch'' in ''understated nobody" persona with a hidden danger ...with the grand enormous game of one of my favorites of all time whose career i followed right from just before his first slam to the very, very end when everyone was writing him off -- PETE SAMPRAS.

probably not quite at the same very olympus-like heights as sampras -- but much like it, at least to me , because no fan can have followed that guy's career the way i did, lol.

i know, i BRITBOX would know just as much -- right Britbox?

you better back me up on this!! lol

I'll be satisfied with either result, but I think del Potro may take this. He's playing with a lot of confidence and isn't having dips, or taking a few points or games off. I just want to see a good match and congrats to the victor.

BOTH ARE SUPERB PLAYERS -- and WELL-EARNED finalists and whoever wins -- very deserving , that's for sure.

this is HIGH QUALITY playing they've been bringing to their matches.

USA hasn't had a major men's champ for over a decade now -- that's A BIG, BIG hole...

if there IS one RIGHT NOW i would love to see win his own

it is in fact -- JACK SOCK! I really think this guy could play that well (heck if wawrinka can - so can JACK!! purely on tennis playing alone, never mind about ''building up experience and finally learning how to make a breakthrough" after so many years of ''training on court" like wawrinka) -

Wrong, I was a Sampras super fan. I followed him from day one to day end. I read every article on him and rooted for him at all times. I loved Pete!!!

Jack is growing on me. I like the way he smiles during the match when something goes against him, but doesn't let it affect his purpose. He puts things behind him quickly, that part has improved tremendously this year. You can see his confidence growing. I also like the way that he's stepping up to the player as far as being the #1 American. Stevie Johnson kind of faltered, but Jack seems to be relishing it. Having that big lead in the third, to having Zverev get back on serve, to breaking Zverev again was impressive. I didn't think he'd be able to do it, but he did.

Looking forward to seeing what he does in 2017.

Interesting. One thing we know is that Jack takes himself seriously, so that's a plus on his side. I think next year will be telling. I can't wait to see what he does with all of the Americans being so close in ranking. Who will step it up? It's going to be interesting.

Shame Zverev couldn't get past Sock... so rooting for Delpo in the final. Would be great to see the big man grab a title.

come to think of it -- now that you mentioned -- delpo does need a title in his return...would be great indeed. and good preparation for next year's GS season if he can hopefully stay healthy -- PLEASE!!

it's become so annoying and deflating seeing him return , get the thing rolling AND in fact quickly remind just how good the game is - and then something happens.

Zverev's gonna be ok (again, same for everyone, stay healthy) -

he's played so much according to the commentators - like TWICE the amount ofgames compared to last year !!
so maybe it was just time for his bit of 'brain fry" in a tight match. hehe.

he'll be ok - 19 or 18 yrs old - just about the right time to show real stuff - get an accounting of where he's at -- recharge and make the next jump..and that SHOULD be next year if things fall in place as they seem to do.

he's got fire in his playing but very well-tempered too.
