If Serena wins her match against Halep, then the ONLY possible way Dominatrix can finish
YE #1 is if she wins the whole tournament.

^ No.Numbers worked out before Singapore started

If Serena makes the final underfeated she clinches the No 1 regardless of what Sharapova does

Serena 8196 making the final underfeated

Maria 8180 winning the title underfeated

What I am saying is correct and what you are saying is correct.

So, the "No" in your post is wrong.

Halep and Caro along with Aga are the best trio of retrievers in the league.
#1 may not be on line too long but there is still a lot on line.

The losers match may tell a lot, if Genie loses, will she pull out?

I do not know why they are making this big fuss over Genie, I saw her play last night and she is not all of that. Her game has nothing to it whatsoever. She's not exciting to watch either.

she is boring...:snigger...she thinks she is all that because she grew up in a well to do neighbourhood where Canadian prime minister reside...Kvitova is another very boring player.
Genie will fall down the ranking next year, she has lot to defend and hopeful she will come down to earth.

Williams in straights. Ivanovic in straights. I imagine neither of these will be super interesting.

At this moment (after two days of play),

1. Serena is guaranteed of YE #1 as long as she can reach the final independent of
how she reaches there and what others do.

2. The ONLY possible way for Maria to be YE #1 is for her to win WTAF outright
by facing someone other than Serena in the final.

Actually, as of now, Serena clinches YE #1 as long as she manages to reach the final (even if
she loses one match in RR, but not two) independent of what Maria does. This is because of
the fact that Maria has already lost one match.

May I ask are we going to use this post also for the doubles competition?
You know I am a lover of doubles
There is a very good field in the doubles at Singapore this year

It's best to use this thread:
http://www.tennisfrontier.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=3112&pid=143151#pid143151

Doubles will go on for more than one day, we better keep the conversation in the same thread so it'll be continuous.

Matt Cronin says it all

Halep takes first set 6-0. Serena may have played her top 5 horror shows ever. But Serena can recover. Wont know if SW feels OK, or done

8th bagel in Serenas career - last time in Madrid last year.

1997 - Balleret
1999 - Fernandez
2005 - Jankovic
2007 - Henin & Schnyder
2008 - Venus
2013 - Medina Garrigues
2014 - Halep

I'm watching and it's almost not to believe. Serena won *9* points in the first set:nono

Now Serena down 02 in second set and just made her 7th DF

Are you watching, Hoergren? Serena is playing terribly. She lost the first set 6-0 in 20 minutes. :eyepop
