I love the present form of Peng/Hsieh so far in this tournament
Seeing this will be the last time they will partner each other,as both players will be with different doubles partners for 2015.

Thanks for the doubles draw. I am rooting (not necessarily predicting) for Sania and Cara here.
I think Sarah and Vinci have tailed off little bit now and should not be too difficult to beat.
However, beat the Chinese Taipei pair would be difficult I suppose.

But, it will be a win- win situation for Sania; either her current partner or her future partner will win.

Mirza/Black via super tie-breaker

And that's exactly what happened.
The crystal ball is working good.

Great, I will take the win in anyway (as this is single elimination and efficiency does not
count). Who do they play next (Italians?)

The finals are set.
No.3 seeds Cara Black and Sania Mirza versus the No.2 seeds and defending champions Hsieh Su-Wei and Peng Shuai.

I have been impressed with Peng/Hseih from the beginning of the doubles tournament
Peng/Hseih to win the doubles competition.
Also this is the last tournament for them together as a team.2015 both will be with new doubles partners

Did not imagine that they will win, did not even dream of this score line. Hsieh/Peng are 12-0 in
finals going into this match. What happened? Can anybody who saw provide insight?

Maybe this twit tell you something:

Peng and Hsieh have been split for a while, but that was their last doubles match together. Hsieh will partner with Mirza in 2015.

SO half of the losing team is playing with half the winner team because Black MAYBE is retiririg - Black will clarify this within the next month or so. Chemistry between Hsieh and Peng maybe hasn't been the best - maybe the answer to your question - you don't give it all against your new partner

The same comment applies to Sania too.

But, I guess the different is that while Sania and Cara are splitting due to Cara retiring and/or
phasing off, Hsieh and Peng are not splitting amicably I guess.
