of course Djokovic is fine form but not at he's best god level, yea I agree he was out played.
I would say he was "god-level," if you like, or close enough, for this round of a MS1000. His serve was on, he was painting the lines. The errors he made were par for the course, for him. I thought he brought a solid A-/B+ game, and Tsitsipas, once he got over the original loss of serve, grew in game and confidence. The win was all Tsitsipas.

I think this was one of the best 2 of 3 matches of the year. Both played well, and mostly at the same time. No real lulls, once it got going.

I thought Tsitsipas was some mental midget. At least this is what our resident shit eating expert claimed. Even came up with the very original "Tsitsipus" nickname.

Very disappointing from Novak. Couldn’t raise his level. Hard to imagine he will win a slam with this level of play. It’s not even enough for the nextgen. Greek played well and deserved the win.

Tsitsipas is 21. He's got a lot of game, and good mentality, which he proved today. All good signs for his future.

His stats in that match were perfectly good. He ran up against someone playing better today. He could win a Slam with this level. Depends on the day and the opponent, though.

Yeah, I agree. That's why it's ludicrous to claim he's mentally weak. If anything, any reservation about him should be more about his game (I think the backhand can be an issue in certain match-ups), not his mentality.

Nothing that happens between now and the end of the year is ever indicative of anything with regards to future majors.

That is disappointing for a fan like me. In the past it depended only on his game, not anymore.
Remember the fire he had 2011, today it’s all gone. Instead of that he makes this hugging and celebrating bullshit.

He has good chances, but my friend, let’s be honest, awesome level of tennis?
His B game is enough for most of them. Your man, like mine, is surely past his prime.

You are right but there are more and more signs, and that is fucking dissapointing for me. Sorry for my language.

Sasha has sorted out that DF malaise, whatever the cause may havd been.
He serves very well, high percentage of first served in.

Novak is Amor y Paz. I don't think this decides YE#1.

You are correct that it does not decides the YE#1, Moxie. However with this loss, Nadal is guaranteed to reclaim the number 1 ranking on November 4, 2019 until November 17, 2019 irregardless on what happens on Paris Indoors as the WTF points comes off right before the 2019 WTF begins.

Djokovic lost! :yahoo:

Like I said, he’s having a lot of trouble with the next gen, he will not be a contender for the slam record.

Nadal in a great position for the year-end no.1 :good::dance3:
