Raonic is the first casualty of the day.. going down in straights to Ramos-Vinolas 6/2 6/4 6/4

That's a bit of a surprise, especially the straightforward result. It was too early for me to watch it, but perhaps there is more to the hip injury than they'd thought.

I saw the final few games... he looked to be moving OK and made Ramos-Vinolas work hard to close it out.

Good for Ramos-Vinolas. This is a good run for him, can't imagine too many slam quarter finals for him before this one.

Well taking a set off Stan when he is playing well is a good result. Viktor is now hurting a bit, it is so hard to keep up with these top guys. But Viktor tried to give his all, that's all a player can do.

Stan with the break in the 4th should do it. They are showing Isner vs Murray here now.

I haven't seen the match but I'm surprised with the result of Raonic-Ramos, it was a good match?
I have not any idea if John Mac will help him more but sorry to say I don't see Raonic winning GS unless the rest of the Tour would play bad

I thought Ramos-Vinolas was going to win this match. I'm not understanding why they're hyping Milos, but I don't see all of this potential they keep talking about. To me it would be virtually impossible for Milos to beat Novak, Federer, Rafa, Stan, and Murray to win a major and chances are he's going to face at least two of them in a tournament. The top guys will make Milos bend down all day long.

On the flip side I thought that Begu would end Shelby Rogers run, but alas it wasn't to be. Good for Shelby. She's having the tournament of her career.

I just said that. I don't see it either, Carol.
