Oh yeah. I can only imagine the nerves in a fifth set match in a slam. Especially a top player struggling against a lower ranked lad who’s hit a streak and has nothing to lose…

Any player pays in those moments with a high lob! So often they won't back off and let it bounce! You can't swing as freely if taken out of the air! Both players lost points in that situation allowing the other to defend and keep it going! :thinking-face: :fearful-face::face-with-hand-over-mouth:

Like I said earlier, so much drama on the show courts today. Did everyone miss what happened on P.C. w/ Casper's match? His opponent was down two BP's at 5-5 on his serve and was visibly cramping. The umpire said you have to wait to the changeover, he said I have pain in my leg I'm getting a visit from the trainer and proceeded to sit down. Trainer comes out evaluates his leg and says no mas. You are suffering from cramps and can't take an MTO pre-changeover. LOL!

I find it pretty funny how Holger is being handsomely rewarded with his loss in the Rome Finals. No Medvedev, no Sinner, and only have to face one of Alcaraz/Djokovic/Tsitsipas to win the title.
Rune wont be winning the title at RG, also I dont like a player having a walkover early in a GS tournament, Rune was struggling with the wind in his previous match, if he cant win at Rome in a best of 3 against Meddy I cant see him winning at RG, his legs were very heavy in Rome

Let it go okay,
See how you left a comma there, instead of a full stop? It means you’re still discussing this thing you said twice you’re done with, and that the above sentence isn’t yet complete?

You really ought not to be discussing it if you’re not going to address the poster you dismissed rudely, several times. It would have been easier for you if you had..

IMO, this is the epitome of the new definition of Karma! Sinner was winning comfortably, but was "smelling himself!" I hate excessive fist pumps, esp. fake ones while eye-balling an opponent! You can win with all that gesticulating! It makes a person feel rotten, but it all turned in that 4th set! I have lit'l to no sym, pathy for Sinner even though he's the future of tennis w/ Alcaraz & Rune! :thinking-face: :fearful-face::face-with-hand-over-mouth:
Yeah, players should fist pump when it’s real. Some guys like to signal to their opponent and it has the opposite effect than they intended.

You did it again. You can’t help yourself :lulz1: :lulz1:

Just go quiet if you’re not going to address the poster you insulted. I could keep this up all day. Only takes me a second..

I also have to agree with what someone (Fiero?) once said thats its simply gone too far when you start fispumping your opponent’s DF’s. : (

I’ve read here ( Dont shoot me i cant remember which posters LOL) that Sinner needs to beef up or step it up physically but I dunno, body types are body types ( classic example: Williams sisters) .

Daniil & Medevev are older than Sinner & still relatively lanky and thin. Sinner will never be beefy like, say, Wawrinka or Tiafoe and those Karatsev calves are mostly genetic I suspect. ; )

As to his conditioning, that doesn’t necessarily have anything to do with bulking up.

He kind of does, he’s a bit lanky. But! It’s only the second round, he can’t have been that tired..
