For goodness sake, little Holger knows that playing an Italian (Fognini) in Rome the crowd would be against him, playing a Spanish player at Madrid ( Fokina) the stands would root strongly for his opponent and being so close to the France/Italy border playing an Italian (Sinner)at Monte Carlo again he was not the crowd’s favorite and he certainly won’t be shocked that playing Monfils at Roland Garros the cheers overwhelmingly will be for his opponent. It’s not his first time at the rodeo. The Danish Angel doesn’t play “the victim”, but by now knows how to use that energy to fuel his resolve and motivation. He just needs the Chairs from sanctimoniously playing the lecturing father figure.
