Gulbis is playing solid tennis so far. Assuming Roger gets thru this round, I'm not totally confident he beats him. If he does, then it probably means he's still got gears in him. For that reason I'll not be that bothered if he loses, coz he would most likely have been spanked at the business end. It's going to be a revealing test. Yes the U.E. count went up, but after a passive start, Novak upped his game and began to assert himself in the points. From there, Marin cracked as per usual.
