I'm still having trouble getting my mind to accept the fact that Errani beat Azarenka on a hard court in straight sets. :cover

Looks like Serena and Halep heading for a showdown. That would be fun to watch.

Serena was very moody during her match with Petkovic. I understand why because it seemed like all of her shots serve included at times were either very precise or way off the mark. Good news is she has plenty of time to gain some consistency before the U.S. Open.

Serena s ground strokes need fine tuning..the errors are too many. This year she has been struggling with her forehand and the backhand..lots of errors from forehand.

Who said Halep would beat Aga? 6-0 :cover

Now obviously it's just the first set, but whoa baby that a serious hill to climb.

Update:

So Simona levels at 6-3. Heading to the decider where she will serve first

Aga misses the chance to break back. Simona is 3-0 up now.

Hope Aga can come back.

Halep ends it with a breadstick. Upped the game really good after a poor start.

Great match comeback from Halep, she showed True Grit afterwards of a very poor first set. It shows one should never Give up.

Very disappointing, after such a strong, commanding first set. But an impressive comeback by Halep. I thought she would completely go away in the second.
