I've tried to catch a portion of as many matches as possible, and it doesn't seem that anyone is looking really sharp out there. A few of the upsets have been more than a little surprising.

Gulbis and Young have done little all year, but they're playing today for a quarterfinal berth.

IDK why people are surprised! In the old days, Masters were just as tough as a MAJOR with all the top players! You have to expect some upsets and I feel better when it happens! It's not like I want the top players to lose, but they need to be tested! Nole had no trouble with Sock today and that's a shame after he played so well to defeat Dimitrov yesterday in 3 tough sets! :dodgy: :popcorn :eyepop

Remember, backing up an upset with another upset is very rare (but he could have given a tougher fight at least).

Not watching the tennis but hopefully Gulbis is getting better. At least he won a match!

I can imagine a match between Kyrgios vs Gulbis who also says that all the players are boring, maybe he would have a lot of fun or maybe he would get more ungry than Stan and then......we would have a lot of fun watching them :p

I wonder how jealous the other men are of Gulbis? I can imagine them giving him a hard time being rich, good-looking, and successful without working too hard! Today was the first time I saw Daddy in the stands! Did I hear they own an island a while back? :cover :nono  :dodgy:

He will probably have most of the stadium cheering him on (maybe even a few Aussies). One problem; Isner's knee is bothering him, and I think his shoulder might also be a bit gimp. :(

Hi everyone,

Decided to return to posting. Also because I have a pressing problem: none of my regular streams are working: fromhot, sportslemon, drakula stream. And I really want to see Djokovic play Sock.

Can anyone help out?

Thanks!

Hey Denis, hope you're well. My usual go-to is Fromhot (aka Fromsport) but it seems to be getting blocked. Unable to help, unfortunately...

In US, you can try slingtv @ $20/month. It gives access to ESPN3. I ditched cable/dish package and saved $$$.

Wow, Murray, Novak and Rafa are playing doubles. I wonder if Montreal is just lucky or they know how to offer a good incentive.

I think they're lucky in the timing. Players want to play now, and Montreal is the first chance they get. I doubt that Rafa, Nole and Muzza will play doubles in Cinci...

Kyrgios gone. Now, he will have more time to keep track who is banging whom. :cover

In fairness to him, I'd say he was emotionally drained. I'm sure even he was appalled by his own bad taste last night...

Isner returns calm and normalcy to Montreal. Maybe we can talk about the tennis again. Good going John! :clap

And Isner is having his usual summer fun in the sun on the tour. Atlanta title, D.C. runner-up, Montreal QFs. But it's usually followed by a USO flameout so stay tuned.
