4 errors by Coco results in a 4-2 lead for Simo. Simo hasn't really done anything yet in the TB. hasnt needed to

Who over here said Scone was maddening? Coco Puffs even more so. I'm ready to reach through the TV and strangle this girl. These errors at the most inopportune time. :(
I believe it was Tossip said Scone was maddening :)

not more than Maddie:angry-face: for my money.. only Serena is better to watch to hitting ball than Keys.. When she is on,, its is breathtaking but when she is not she makes me want to stick my head in a recently flushed toilet for wasting my time

AP,
If you are around I just found this most disturbing stat for Sabalenka
310 DFs in 37 matches so far in 2022....I might need that medicine you offered me earlier :)
BTW that nearly has been 78 games of tennis she has given away to opponents just on DFs.....I rest my case.
What's even sadder is the fact she couldn't play Wimby, Birmingham and Eastbourne or her numbers would be even higher, no?

If some actually expected Simona to loose to Coco, then they havent been paying attention. Halep is the absolute worst matchup for Gauff.. I wonder how Coco felt facing against her former or current technical tennis consultant in Patrick M

Coco had her chances in the match, UFE, cost her. Also she really needs to fix up her fhand wing, Halep was targeting it with results

Jess Pegula is such a good front runner when she wins the 1st set, 6-3 over Putinseva
Jess just broke Yulia to love in the 2nd set and leads 3-2
Pegula consolidates her break leads 4-2
Pegula 5-3 2nd set

DF from Putinseva

Pegula d Putinseva 63 63....Jess is the highest seed left in the tournament No 7

A clean match from Jess well done, into the s/final,

Jess will face Halep in the s/final, their first meeting.

Jess and Coco will play their QF doubles match later today

Huh, I said her dad coaching not Coco
Sorry I was watching Jess match, didnt read your post properly
I think we all agree it is time for a new coach, her fhand wing really needs attention, most players will target it, breaks down more when she is feeling pressured, also I noticed today on her serve, she is trying to get more spin on it, though resulting in fault?

Beatrix Haddah Maia continues her good form in Toronto, after defeating the No 1 player Swiatek yesterday, she backs it up in the QF and defeats the Swiss Miss Belinda Bencic 26 63 63, to make the semi final.

Beatrix will play the winner of Pliskova - Zheng!

Well done Beatrix!
