Roger Federer isn't the GOAT, and neither is Rafael Nadal nor Novak Djokovic / Bodo

Fed dislikes them both. Fed dislikes dull for his cheating and overall ugly play and being an aggressive bully on court and he hates faker for his arrogant remarks of "king is dead", his loudmouth camp and for quitting matches with flimsy reasons like sore throat, contact lenses popping out.

Neither of these 2 players are anywhere close to Fed's value system so ofcourse he dislikes them if not despises them.

Fed can't be openly critical about dull because dull used to beat him often so it would sound like sour grapes. With faker he was more open because Fed used to own faker specially before 2011. In 2011-2012 too he burst his balloon a few times.

The more Fed fans hate, disrespect and insult Nadal and Djokovic the more they win. It's called karma. Keep on doing it! :good: B-)

Sure, 'cos you're so respectful of Federer in your posts...

I am very respectful. I just defend Nadal from your attacks and have been doing it for the last 15 years. For example you guys accuse Nadal of PEDs over and over and I reply "then how come he needs 30 seconds between points to recuperate! Federer meanwhile can be in the 5th set and needs 10 seconds at nearly 40 years old".

See if Federer fans don't accuse and hate on Nadal in every way, I won't need to bring up Federer in a counter argument. So show respect to Nadal and believe me I won't even think of Federer! Same when you insult Nadal for "non-clay" then I have to reply and say what about Federer "ON clay"? The list goes on.

Federer fans need to learn to play nice and there would be no problem. Nadal fans have been on the defensive from day one. Ever since he threatened Federer's throne, Nadal and his fans have been the victims of hate and insults from Federer fans. So of course we will fight back.

More like Nadal fans like to play the victim. We've been calling out Nadal spitting on tennis since day one and we keep doing it whether you're offended or not.

What you resist, persists.

Hilarious when you play the poor little victim and the woe is me post like this. Go read some of your normal posts where you're doing the polar opposite of what you claimed above. Re the bolded part, that's where you're compeltely 100% wrong. You and the other clown with Nadal in his nick have been posting stupid gloating bs posts since the USO ended. Nadal fans started it ffs. If you can't take it, then don't dish it out.

Awww so we gloated ever since the USO poor you guys... You have been doing it for the past 15 years. Of course that after so many years of being on the defensive we will finally show you a taste of your own medicine. It's still not even 1% of the arrogance of Federer fans and what you have historically done (and continue doing).

Agreed, but don’t expect too many (if any) people around here to understand this. When Roger was recently asked “Who’s your favorite player to play against?” he said Rafa Nadal, with zero hesitation. They played exhibition matches for each other’s charities. Why would they do any of this if one or both disliked each other? They wouldn’t.
Yeah, I know. Barking at the moon. I did try to make the point about there being a difference between the Federer/Nadal Rivalry in actual tennis, and the Fedal Wars on the internet on your Alex Corretja thread. But I shamelessly joined the throng afterward, which turned it into yet another Fedal Wars thread. (Sorry, btw. :lol6:) Anyway, I do find it funny that the fan groups tend to project their hatred of the other onto their favorite, and can't really see how similar they are, in their personalities and lifestyles. Their mutual respect has been often remarked upon, and demonstrated. And yet, the most outrageous of the fans will just call it "fake," and claim they know that to a certitude. Well, "facts" are fungible things on the internet, eh?

LOL Guess there are fans and there ARE PARTISANS ONES... Speaking for myself i remain Federer fan but can appreciate Nadal and Djokovic as two of the greatest competitors.

I'd like to know what was the origins of the G.O.A.T discussions such as what players - male or female - or era did this thing start. Was it Sampras, Federer when either player or both was in their prime ? Female wise first i heard or read was Steffi Graf.

BTW I don't believe there is or ever will be a GOAT for the same reasons Mister Bodo has talked about.

I've thought a lot about this, too, and I support you if you want to start a thread. I could be wrong, but I feel that it started with Michael Jordan and basketball. He was such a superior player, that people started to proclaim him the Greatest Basketball Player of All Time. From there, I think, the GOAT thing took off. I really don't remember anyone trying to proclaim a GOAT in tennis before this. So, suddenly, it was Pete, and Steffi.

That's my theory, but I can't swear by it. As to the GOAT discussions: 19 - 20? I'd say it's just beginning to get ugly.

Yes it was Gunter Parche who first created the concept of GOAT.
